I've been really digging Hair lately. I have a feeling that Scheisse will be the "Starstruck/Monster" of this era. The best decision would be to end the era on Hair IMO.

I'm pretty big on Hair at the moment... The second chorus through to the bridge in particular. Love the way they've (pitched up? up pitched? buh) her voice.

Maybe my favourite moment on the album. I can imagine in the video where they would pan out from whatever craziness she's doing as the bridge approaches and then pan in to a small house with a mini-GaGa dressed as a 12 year old GaGa with piggy-tails singing that bridge.

Hair is amazing. It's the only song left on the album that I REALLY hope they release in the US (of course I'd love 3 or 4 more singles). I also really hope that either Scheisse or Heavy Metal Lover gets a release in the rest of the world.

I keep hearing "Hair" in stores and restaurants. Maybe it's next.

I've been thinking about Grammy odds quite a bit myself. Three consecutive nominations for album of the year would be fantastic, does anyone know if that's happened before?
I think there's a shot - I would think that the academy would appreciate its riskier elements, especially since The Fame was so commercial. At the same time, I could see it being shut out by other artists, so they don't seem like they're favoring Gaga or simply having the need to feature other great artists. I'm sure Adele's 21 is a complete shoo-in for album, for example.

I have a feeling she'll be shunned a bit at the GRAMMYs this year. I doubt she'll get any major nods except for maybe ROTY for "Born This Way" or something. And then a bunch of Pop/Dance noms.

I don't think she will get any noms except for a few token dance category ones. The awards only reward more generic music OR music that swings so far away from pop that it gets critical acclaim for not being that generic pop music. Gaga is not doing generic safe, but popular music right now, but she is also not the exact polar opposite of it. Therefore, she won't be rewarded.
Sad because it is probably the best pop cd of the year.

I can see a Pop Album win for BTW, honestly. Not sure 21 should even be nominated for that but I'm sure it'll be submitted under that cat.

21 will definitely be nominated and has a good shot at winning I think. I like Adele but I think the album, overall, is pretty weak. There are some very obvious filler tracks on it IMO.

‘Bad Romance’ Tops 400 Million YouTube ViewsLady Gaga’s music video for “Bad Romance” today reached 400 million views on YouTube. “Bad Romance” was directed by Francis Lawrence and released as the first video from The Fame Monster. “I knew Francis’ ability as a director is so much higher than what I could do,” said Gaga. “There’s this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I’m washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia.” The video, which is arguably Gaga’s best work to date, received 7 MTV Video Music Awards, including best female video, best pop video and video of the year, and a Grammy for best short for music video, becoming one of the most awarded clips in history. - GGD Lady Gaga - Bad Romance (Behind The Scenes) Bad Romance

I like Adele but I think the album, overall, is pretty weak. Why take Adele down? Adele and Gaga both have great, strong albums. While they are immensely different, both are quality pieces. Nobody should insult Adele to "prop up" Gaga; it is completely unnecessary.

Gaga's team should put BTW up for Dance album so it will have much better odds for a win. Also, put BTW up for dance song while putting up the much more appealing The Edge of Glory for Pop song, ROTY, and SOTY

21 will win Best Pop Album. If Gaga wants to win, she should submit Born This Way to Best Dance/Electronica Album. I think she has a good shot at an AOTY nomination but this year is very cluttered with big names (Adele, Kanye, Gaga, Beyonce, TSwift, KOL, Radiohead, Foo, RHCP, Jay-Z/Kanye, John/Russell).
Adele should win Pop Album. I prefer Born This Way but there's no denying that 21 is THE (pop) album of the year. I'd like to see BTW/EOG snag a major nomination but who knows after BR got snubbed.

I can't get into Adele's music but I'm sure she will do well at the Grammy's. I just hope Gaga does well also. 'Born This Way' is the best album of the year (thus far) imo.
