The BTW video really grew on me. Surprised it hasn't hit that miles tone yet.
You And I deserves it as well. Probably the best video of this era, for me.

Lady Gaga to Headline New Yearβs Rockinβ Eve in Times Square
Lady Gaga will headline Dick Clarkβs New Yearβs Rockinβ Eve 2012 on December 31st live from New York City. Ryan Seacrest, who has been co-hosting the program since 2005, shared the big news during his radio show today. Gaga is set to take the stage in Times Square to perform hits from her multi-platinum record Born This Way in front of a massive crowd of around a million people.
In a press release, Clark said: βThe army of talent we had join us over the years has truly been outstanding, and this year we top it off with an appearance by Lady Gaga. New Yearβs Rockinβ Eve 2012 promises to be one of the most exciting ever, and Iβm proud to be part of the team.β
Seacrest added: βGaga is one of the most exciting and relevant artists of our time, and weβre thrilled to have her join New Yearβs Rockinβ Eve this year in Times Square.β

So, ever since the video for You & I came out and it had that whole theme of past, present and future(?) GaGa, with her being at a crossroads, etc, made me listen to Scheisse in a totally different light. Several have mentioned that it was about female empowerment, which I think it is still, but I also hear something different now. I hear a song where GaGa sings about wanting to be herself and not what others want or expect her to be. The whole "I don't speak German, but I can if you like" line followed by that howl makes it sound like she's referencing the control she's under by others, including herself. She crafted out a career and an image and wants to be free of it. Then you have lines like "I wish I could be strong without the scheisse (shit)", and the "scheisse" is her crazy over-the-top costumes, sets, etc. Then there's other lines like "Put on a show tonight, do whatever you like, scheisse, scheisse be mine, scheisse be mine". I think you get where I'm going... I still think the song is about female empowerment, but also about personal empowerment, and taking control of your own life, and being free of the "scheisse". Its been kind of evident this era that she was trying to go for a less over-the-top image a good chunk of the time. She still has her moments, and I think she enjoys it, but I also think she wants to be taken seriously without all the "gimmicks and stunts" aka the "scheisse".
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, I don't know, but once that video description came out for You & I it was in my head then, and I heard it while listening to Scheisse.

I see Y&I peaking on pop in early-mid November. I'm expecting a new single (hopefully Hair or ScheiΓe) mid-end Nov with a video in mid December that'll ensure it gets a nice boast with the holiday sales.

I'm confident 'Marry The Night' will be the fifth single. New Years seems like the perfect time of year for that song to be smashing the charts...

It seems to hover around 20,000 give or take. At this rate, it should pass 2 million sometime in December. I wonder if it will get a holiday spike? And if there are significant Grammy nominations, a possible spike then too in December.

Sales are looking great. She's really holding consistent worldwide too! It seems to hover around 20,000 give or take. At this rate, it should pass 2 million sometime in December. I wonder if it will get a holiday spike? And if there are significant Grammy nominations, a possible spike then too in December. I think she will if there is a single impacting. I mean I think all "relevant" pop artists who have singles out get somewhat of a spike during the holidays but it's just seeing how big it will be. When everything's all said and done, I'd expect 2.5 million or so from the album...which is awesome.

I've yet to warm up to 'Fashion of His Love'. I'm not sure why it doesn't appeal to me.

I actually think the album may see a sales boost with Christmas and then the tour. 2.5 million with holidays, 1-2 more singles, and a tour seems rather easy.

I am expecting the next single to be Bloody Mary. That's what the majority popular opinion seems to be. I am personally all for it. Great track with a unique beat and sound, and the killer bass in the middle. I think it would definitely go Top 10.

I think the next single will probably be MTN and it will perform similarly to what You and I has done so far. I don't think they are going to release fan favorites this era (Bloody Mary, HML, Fashion of his Love, GH, or Sheisse) unless it is a thrown out last final single that they won't promote much.
I am hoping for 2.5 US and 6 million worldwide. Both numbers would be very respectable.

I'm excited about "You & I" smashing right now, haven't thought about the next single release. It's a tough call.
The remaining tracks that I like are "Marry The Night", "Government Hooker", "Hair", "Bloody Mary", "Fashion Of His Love", "Bad Kids", "Heavy Metal Lover", and "Highway Unicorn". I'm not sure which ones would set radio on fire though.

I personally think she'll close out the era with MTN, which works just fine in my opinion :)

I had predicted Heavy Metal Lover... if it's the same opening as Dance In The Dark was. It would have an extended intro to build anticipation the way DITD was. But on the flipside, she might go for something with an immediate opening like MTN.

I'm still praying that Fashion of His Love is released. I can seriously see it smash on the radio! That or ScheiΓe seem like perfect choices. Highway Unicorn (Road to Love), Hair, and Government Hooker would also be great choices.
Out of curiosity, how many singles do y'all think they will push out of the album? There's so much potential on the album that I wouldn't be surprised if, granted that the label has no specific limitations on how many singles are released, there's 7 or 8 singles released. I just hope that Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, and The Queen stay unreleased. Great album tracks, but I can't see them doing extremely well on radio. TQ sounds too much like The Edge of Glory, to be honest.
When do tour dates come out? I'm determined to be on Ticketmaster the second they go on sale.

I have a feeling that she'll continue her streak of releasing more adult contemporary oriented singles and for that reason, I suspect that they'll go with Hair or Marry The Night. ScheiΓe NEEDS to be released at some point though.

The only other singles I want are Hair and Schiebe but I'm almost positive MTN will see the light of day. But if they all do well, I won't have a problem with her milking the album. I'd love for Americano to get a video but I doubt it.
I feel like Hair & Schiebe could have some amazing visuals.

GaGa is now an Emmy-award winner. Yeah, she is the queen of Picture Editing For A Special (Single Or Multi-Camera). Is that the only award she won? If so, she wasn't the recipient. The Emmys aren't like music shows where they just give everything to the artist. Technical Emmys always go to the people doing that work.
