Which Gaga song is about meeting men at clubs? I can think of one or two depending on your interpretation of the lyrics?

Plus when she have so many people trying to attack her genre after she revived it (christina/ke$ha). I like GaGa, but she didn't revive s**t. Britney was doing dance-pop long before GaGa blew up. And Rihanna was likewise doing dancepop before Blackout flopped and Britney Pitymey waddled around aimlessly on the VMA stage. See how this silly little game works?

I wasnt referring to dance pop thats always been around. Im talking about electro pop/electronica no one one was doing it on the scale gaga was. Plus the only dance pop songs rihanna released were Dont Stop The Music and Disturbia and those were fantastic. So ^ dont drag RiRi into that.

I know this but some stans just break their necks to make it look like their faves are responsible for everything. In reality, the electropop sound we hear now is just a natural progression from the rhythmic-heavy pop that was happening in the middle of the last decade ( L.A.M.B. , Futuresex/LoveSounds, Shock Value, Loose, etc.). Giving any of these ladies too much credit for starting trends is foolish. That was my point. I'll leave RiRi out of it. ;)

^Thank you. I know i hate when ppl think that their fave artists are like the center of the universe. They are so hypocritical and biased its not even cute.

I like GaGa, but she didn't revive s**t. Britney was doing dance-pop long before GaGa blew up. 'Piece Of Me', 'Radar', 'Break The Ice', 'Gimme More', 'Heaven On Earth', 'Freakshow', 'Outta This World', 'Everybody' - GaGa would have killed for all of those songs, I'm sure. Yes, but out of those songs, which were hits? lol Of course there were some that were doing the sound GaGa's been doing before her, but she really kicked the door down. Just like female pop/rock was always around, but Pink kicked the door back in before it closed. We all know she didn't really "revive" it, but female pop/rock was definitely starting to fade before Missundaztood came out. How could any of these songs become hits if they weren't released as singles? lol Gimme More and Piece Of Me were worldwide hits, not as massive as some of GaGa's singles of course but it makes sense given the issues one would have if he bought or requested a Britney song back in 2007. But even before Britney, Madonna really brought it back with Hung Up back when GaGa was still at school.

Hung Up drew it's influence from Disco though, not Electro. It didn't bring back anything, it's pretty much a stand-alone massive single.

End the Fame Monster with Alejandro, come back in the fall if you must The Monster Ball is extended 4 months into 2011. There will be no comeback in the fall. We're getting a fourth, and maybe even a fifth, single whether or not you oppose.

She needs to take a break. I know so many people who don't like her anymore because she's oversaturated the airwaves. With "Alejandro" flopping on radio AND digitally, not to mention her album sales completely dropping off, a break IS clearly needed. You're onto something here, me thinks. This "oversatured" nonsense needs to die. The most successful artists of all-time were at one point "oversatured" and that is precisely how they were able to make such an impact. (Mariah, MJ, Madonna, Janet, etc and many others who released album after album and single after single throughout the 80's and 90's) As long as people keep responding to what she puts out (and they clearly are, the evidence is all right there in plain numbers), then she is fine. Oversaturation only becomes a problem when you reach the point where you are becoming stale. Hence my hope that she goes left-field of expectations for her new music on the way. As long as you keep things fresh and exciting, it doesn't matter how exposed you are.

^NOOOOO Teeth needs to stay on the album where it belongs. That song is completely horrid. The next single should be DITD and if she wants she can release SHICD or Monster if she wants. She needs a break. i even disapprove of her extending her tour.

Ew... 'DITD' = flop. No more singles after 'Alejandro,' plz. Then, she can release in the fall without too much overexposure.

How will she release in the fall when shes still touring overseas. gaGa needs a break too. and FYI DITD is one of the most critically acclaimed songs on the album. I think it would do good as a single. especially in the fall.

She's said the album is basically done, and also that she's not taking a break.
'DITD' may be critically acclaimed, but it's just so bland and dull. I am positive it would be her first underperformer.

I'm on board with whatever happens! New single from Monster? Sure! New album? Absolutely! A short break? I'm even okay with that. I love GaGa! I'm not oversaturated with her but a break wouldn't hurt either. I feel like it's a win-win situation for me personally.

"Teeth">>>"DITD" by far. There's nothing appealing about DITD at all, and it would be a huge failure as a single.

Dance In The Dark is my least favourite GaGa song EVER, even worse than any leaks we've had, its just a plain boring song, Teeth>>>>

I love Dance In The Dark but I love Monster even more. The latter should be the 4th (and final) single because it sums up this whole The Fame/The Fame Monster era. It has the elements that made Poker Face and Bad Romance classics and contains the word most people associate Gaga with. Plus, it's safe = a hit. As long as she releases that next she can do whatever she wants with the next singles.

DITD wouldn't do really well. It'd take off cause of momentum but would peak quickly and plummet. This isn't Germany and it isn't 1986.
The only logical single choice left on TFM is 'Monster'.
I think people are throwing around the word 'oversaturated' in a wrong way. The issue that I see is that radio isn't really letting most of her singles go well after they've peaked. When you add up her recurrent play, there is a chance it would hinder the progress of material from the next project.

First off, 'DITD' > 'Teeth'. The best single choice left on the album is 'Monster', the worst is 'Teeth'. I personally think the next single, while not the best, will be either 'Speechless' or 'DITD'. But, I am hoping for 'Monster' at this point.

^someone who understands. Are y'all do you really think Teeth will be a sucessful single. Nope. DITD Monster and SHICD are the only single choices left. They are the only 3 single worth songs left. Teeth is not radio friendly. SHICD could be like a continuation of Telephone.

"Teeth" would be a cool single choice (mainly cause I'm such a Teddy Riley stan).
