I walk into a store, I see 'The Fame' and I see 'The Fame Monster' , I see 2 separate CD packages, not 1 Well i walk into a store and see Relapse and Relapse Refill and I see two separate packages. Then again Relapse is also included with Refill so that makes a difference i guess. I'm assuming then The Fame isnt included with The Fame Monster?

I'm assuming then The Fame isnt included with The Fame Monster? Yes, it is. The album the majority of consumers are buying is the 2 disc rerelease containing all songs from this one enormous era. And no it's not a compilation. Only in some select markets is The Fame Monster available as a separate EP.

You are probably not looking hard enough then The 8-track EP is selling over 14K a week still and is currently #27, so some people are apparently finding it. The Fame Monster is 8 tracks and does not include tracks from The Fame Regarding, The Fame - reissue, you are correct. This is generating higher sales (currently #15); this does include the 8 tracks from the Fame Monster The Fame and the Fame Monster are two separate albums which is why they get two separate listings on the album chart

By some select markets, I mean of the world. It's only available in 4 countries I believe.
In the majority of the world you can only get The fame Monster with The Fame.

"The world" reference in a Billboard Hot 100 thread? My mistake I suppose.

"The world" reference in a Billboard Hot 100 thread? My mistake I suppose. We're already discussing albums in a thread about popular songs. Give me a break. I'm just saying if you look at it from a global perspective, it's not so clearly a sophomore album for Gaga now is it?

yes and no
No in the sense that the intent of the separate release was to be a companion to the 1st release so it is not really a "sophomore album"
It is however a separate album because you can buy it separately from the original Fame release
FYI - Granted I only checked the UK and Australia you can purchase the 8 track disc off that country's amazon.com site (which 4 countries were you talking about?)

So in reality, if a consumer buys "The Fame Monster" (Gaga on the cover with blonde penis wig) they are according to how it's charting on BB 200 buying "The Fame" album with "The Fame Monster" included as a bonus? 'Cause that would be the only way this all makes sense LOL.

Yes, the Fame reissue with the 8 bonus racks is charting the same as the original Fame release

I can agree with that. I believe the US, UK, Australia, and Japan are the only countries the EP is available on its own. At least it was only available in those markets. I'm not sure how common it is for exclusives in one or a few countries to then become available everywhere over time.
