i think it's kinda groundbreaking. Not in the sense of the pop climate, but in my own mind, i guess. I don't think i've ever heard a song that grew on me soooo much like this one has, not even Madonna! Every note hits home. It's just a grandslam imo. Bullseye!!! i think i see what u mean! it made me feel that way too.. kinda like nostalgic in a way.. reminding me of everything i wanted and dreamed of when i was a teenager.. and that young hope that i wish i had now.. |

I don't like the verses and the chorus is alright, but I feel like I've heard it before. Not feeling this one.

it's the type of song i could be listening to on my ipod walking down the street on a sunny summer day and i couldn't care less if i just started singing and dancing down the sidewalk, while everyone watched. It's that great.

I doubt this song will be a #1 hit like 'IKAG', 'HNC' & 'WUIV'. Most likely a solid Top 10 hit, at worst Top 15.

I can't help but falling in love fast for this 2nd singel from Katy :) Compared to California Gurls, Teenage Dream is a much 'deeper' song with its beats/rhytmn digging slowly but surely into your consciousness before you know it :) Its hooks are suitably sweet (as it is meant to be) but not cloyingly so. Which could mean that it should turn up to be steady grower and stayer (instead of a quck short burst) in the charts.
I am not sure if it would hit No 1 though - it is not 'epic' or 'monumental' enough like I Kiss A Girl or Waking Up in Vegas or even California Gurls. However, it makes me liking Katy again (after the pretty lame first single)

I don't see a hit. I love this now, but seriously lower top ten at tops and that will be based off of CG's momentum. This is basically a more adult version of "Today Was A Fairytale." #trufax Love both songs, but they both have questionable lyrics with the same content, one is just a bit racier.

well i see a total slam-dunk of a hit. It's a sleeper, yes, but once it hits you, it's infectious. All of you who disagree haven't listened enough times. And i do believe that may be intentional.
