I've never had a song grow so much in my life, especially a non-Madonna song. I've seriously listened over 70 times in 2 days. I can't help it, it demands to be heard. Once it clicks it's phenomenal!!

Wow, this has already started to grow on me after only a 2nd listen. The chorus is actually really catchy (I didn't think so on the 1st listen). I think this will be another #1 for her, just not as huge as CG. Go Katy! This but it's not a "Tik Tok" |

I get the same feeling of "clickness" when I hear a Madonna song I don't necessarily like to begin with. This song makes me so excited....for the future...for life...for everything! It's truly amazing...

While I definitely really like this, I don't think its a masterpiece or anything special. ??? I mean, its a generic Pop/Rock track. Sounds like something she would've rejected and then have Kelly put on AIEW. The only part I LOOOOOOOVE is "Imma get your heart racing in my skin tight jeans. Be a teenage dream tonight. Let you put your hands on me, in my skin tight jeans. Be a teenage dream tonight". Everything is just good or decent. I don't know. I guess I just can't make up my mind with this song. Its like I was disappointed at first cause I was hoping for more, then it grew on me, so I gave it a generous A. All I hear though is a B, at best. |

^That's my thoughts on the song too. It's a decent pop/rock song and I think it's good, but I don't think it's anything particularly special. I actually really like the beat, vibe and lyrics but I think the melody is very weak and unmemorable and the verses are actually quite terrible to me. I'm kinda 50/50 on this song still but it is growing on me.

I love how it's all delicate-like during the verses then it kinda just gently explodes during the chorus. I hope that makes some kinda sense.
Anyways, it's her best yet.

for me this song is like the track Katy did with Timbaland...the first couple of times I heard that, I didn't get it, but then after several listens it just ~clicked and I fell in love with it. same thing happened with TD. might not bode well for its chart performance though, lol.  |

I disagree. Most pretty blondes pull off black hair really well. Its the blue eyes/black hair combination that always looks good. Its never about natural hair color, its about skin complexion. I do agree on the dark hair/light eyes combo though.  'Tis true. The dark hair/light eyes combo is She went from 5 to 10 (slight exaggeration) with the hair color change. |

Finally a video with a hot male lead. I hate videos where there is a hot girl and a fug ass guy. Get it Katy! Can't wait to see the video. Whenever I'm in the car I am almost always listening to my iPod, but I've been listening to the radio in hopes that I hear this song. I haven't yet. Damn northwest PA  Brings to mind Your Love is My Drug. That lead totally ruined the video for me. |
