LOL at people saying since people don't vocalize their fandom outside the internet as much that people like Britney Taylor Pink Katy etc are "actually liked by no one". Just because not every Britney fan is a Chris Crocker and not everyone uses Taylor Swift song quotes in their daily lives doesn't make them unliked. These women sell out stadiums for their concerts and shut down whole cities. They have tons of fans otherwise they wouldn't have all those platinum records ;) thank you very much Yes, it sounds downright silly doesn't it? ;)

I want the entire cd right now. I hope there is a slow under-appreciated gem again like Thinking of You!

In regards to Pink, I have to agree with spree. Based on her track record, she should be an A-list star on the same level as Britney, GaGa, Taylor, Beyoncé, etc., but she isn't. She's just...there. I honestly have never heard one person say, 'Oh, I love Pink!', whereas I've come across many big fans of the other females I listed above. Pink strikes me as one of those artists who has a lot of casual fans ('Eh, I've liked her last few singles, so maybe I'll check out her album'), but not many stans.

Honest question-did Pink's 6 million cds sold with her last cd count for less because apparently "casual fans" bought them instead of stans?

People are only A-Listers based on image, not success. Sometimes it accounts for both. And yeah... Funhouse outsold Circus in the US..so where were those diehard Britney fans? Illegally downloading and then attending the concert? Some fans...

BURN!
Sorry. Had to do that.
Nice one toxic boy. It should say something that Eminem thinks of Pink when he want's someone to sing a hook that was already written and recorded by someone else because he thinks Pink will kill it. Why do you think he always dissed Britney and never dissed Pink?
Britney will always have more total records sold because of baby one more time but Pink is the true artist when you compare Britney vs Katy vs Pink.

Lol can we stop the Pink discussion in Katy's thread? I'm not seeing how it's relevant to Teenage Dream anymore

Question: what does any of this have to do with this song?
Edit: What Chris said.

It wasnt started by a pink fan. It was started by Spree dissing Pink. That's what brought on this convo.

"Teenage Dream" debuts at #27 on The United World Chart.
"California Gurls" is #1 for an 8th week.

Sales aren't directly proportional to celebrity for everyone in the same way. Is John Groban more famous than Jay-Z and Alicia Keys?

^So much for moving on. It wasn't about "famous" it was about "popularity". It all started with.. "More people like Katy, stats prove it". When the stats do not prove it.
End of discussion.. moving on.

Lol can we stop the Pink discussion in Katy's thread? I'm not seeing how it's relevant to Teenage Dream anymore It's not but you have people that always draw comparisons. I'm surprised that it turned into Katy/Pink/Britney but now the bashing of Pink was not enough now it's time to bash Britney... Katy needs to leak something else to get these panzies posters to focus on something relevant to the thread. More importantly, it seems as though katy is going to be the force for 2010. I am loving how she has define who she is and what she wants to do as an artist and just finished listening to her 30 minute interview on youtube. I love this chick. She has a valley girl way about her but still has intelligence.

I will say this again... When you add stations to the panel, it increases the total spins. Meaning songs will reach higher spin totals and higher bullets. Katy will probably be the first to have 2 songs from the same album with bullets over 2000, yes, but keep in mind, there are more stations now making it easier.

The chorus of Peacock reminds me of the beginning of Blah Blah Blah.

I think 'Peacock' should eventually be released as a single, maybe last single of the era?
