The next single is Firework.
Not sure about Katy's plans for the next single internationally but I'd assume it's Firework as well.

Oddly, the singles off this album keep getting better. Cali Gurls was quite bland, this is quite good, and then Last Friday Night is so good you'd think K$ had recorded it! Exactly. They keep getting better. Last Friday Night is good enough to have been the lead single.

+1 Why not ET? or Peacock Would radio touch Peacock? There's a station in Chattanooga that has. So far, it doesn't look like 'Firework' has gotten any spins.

Firework makes sense as the next single because it's a bit of a change of pace which is what she needs...Last Friday Night really isn't. And ET = overrated. Peacock is just a mess.
However I don't think it will be as big as Cali Gurls or Teenage Dream. It'll do fine though, top 10 at least.

Last Friday Night should be single four, just so there's a change of pace in the middle.

as i've said. LFN should be single #6. "Firework" for the fall, "TOTGA" for the winter (it's really the closest thing to a marketable ballad on the album), "ET" for the Spring than LFN for next summer. It'd do better during the summer than any other time of the year -- and i firmly believe NONE of these songs would flop, so her momentum would keep rolling all throughout the next year.
That would really be the perfect era in every sense.

3. Firework (Fall) 4. E.T. (Winter) 5. The One That Got Away (Spring) 6. Last Friday Night (Summer)
I see all of these choices going top 10. Maybe top 15 for TOTGA at worst.

^ as i stated, i would've switched E.T. and TOTGA but other than that we're pretty much spot on.

I agree. I think if those were the single choices, it would definitely sell between 2.5 - 3 million.

I typically enjoy Katy's voice, but her vocal performance on 'Firework' is just dreadful. IMO, it completely brings down the song. Either 'Last Friday Night' or 'ET' should be next. I don't think she needs a change of pace right now.

I honestly think she'll sell 2 million @ best. She's not really a big album seller and if her first week sales are projected to be 200,000 @ best, I see her final total to be 10 times that @ best if all the singles are promoted properly.

o1. California Gurls o2. Teenage Dream o3. Firework o4. Hummingbird o5. Last Friday Night
Those are the best choices, IMO.

Well I'm saying if all those singles are released AND promoted correctly. She's have a continuous radio presence for a very extended period of time.

This album won't make it to 3 million without a re-release. I say if it has 6 big singles it will sell 2.5 at best, and even that is probably a stretch. If two massive hits and a huge amount of promotion could only get her 200,000 first week sales (not that they're bad, just saying) then 4 more hits will not get her 3 million. I think Katy isn't a huge album seller.

She's have a continuous radio presence for a very extended period of time. That won't necessarily translate into massive album sales, though; 3x platinum is quite difficult to reach in this day and age. IMO Katy is more of a singles artist. Therefore, assuming that everything works out perfectly, I see a 2x platinum album and 15 million+ digital sales. Edit: I agree with Rurry: The album won't make it to 3 million without a re-release.

I also agree with y'all. It's weird though, 'cause Ke$ha has been selling like crazy.
