It's definitely a grower, but I found it decent on the first listen, obviously it'll smash coming after CG and all :)

I love it. The chorus has a cool electro-rock vibe. I think I prefer 'California Gurls', but this will surely grow on me even more.

LOVE. THIS. JAM. New anthem! Katy is coming into her own. The barren verses lead well into the explosive choruses. Katy's vocals are, dare I say, robust in this track and she is expressing loads of conviction. The lyrics are cute and relate-able. She has another hit on her hands with this one. The momentum is there to take this far but the song itself is quality enough to go beyond that on its own.

I agree with this. Although, I wasn't a fan of WIUV at first either. But yeah, I could easily see this stalling in the Top 10. Its not terrible, but its nothing amazing either. |
