LTWYL got it! Whoop Whoop!
Didnt California Gurls only log 6 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100?
Still next week if expect lie to drop to like 160K. I think Teenage Dream will probably drop to 210K. So will that be enough to unseat Em? idk.

Can't wait for Taylor to release and give the females some cred this year as far as opening weeks go. 192k is the biggest female opener this year? It's saddening to see that these biggest opening weeks are coming from some of the worst singers in the pop world. Such a shame.

I think the one Soundscan uses is a lot higher than the media-base one.

Hopefully "Magic" will re-enter the top 10 soon. Go Usher! Chris Brown is doing pretty well.

It's official! 'Deuces' is his first number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs since 'Say Goodbye' hit that position 4 years ago.

The Script hang on for one more week in the top 50, I wonder if they can make it 40 weeks? God I can't wait til that LTWYL trash relinquishes the top spot, it's had it's damn time there - I can't believe it blocked Dynamite - and I'm a little surprised that Dynamite stalled at radio, I thought it would achieve the same peaks as OMG.

WHAT? Katy was ahead of Eminem based on airplay and sales? Damn streaming, didn't know it could actually make a difference lol. Well in that case, she definitely has a good chance at hitting #1 next week as long as the airplay increases keep coming the way they've been and sales hold steady the next few days.

SUGARLAND - Stuck Like Glue: 29.087 (+ 0.042) I discovered this song out of curiosity becuase it's in the iTunes top 20, and I'm sure as hell glad I did. This is the first song in a very long while that is simply pop. I know thery're Country, but it's the first song I heard this summer that isn't elecrto/hip-hop/rnb and it's simple and fun. All summer long I've searched for these kind of songs, and all that I can say is that I wish this electro-autotune era will be over already. Either pop songs like this - or hip hop like Ride and Find Your Love. with that said, today's the last day of summer, I think it's been a good one music wise, even though I don't really like California Gurls. Agreed. It's a great song and deserves to be a big crossover hit. Doesn't hurt that the music video is really charming and has gone viral somewhat(1.2 million views in less than a month).Frankly I think the music video elevates the song.Who knew Nettles was such a good actress and dancer?
