The account that posted the tracklist was @kraziefemale, which has since been deleted. The account selling alleged signed albums is @krayziefema ie, so clearly a scam.

Saw a post somewhere about it being classified as synth pop, but can't seem to find it. Is that confirmed? No. Some random girl posted a TikTok saying that with no sources and people ran with it. People were also convinced Midnights was rock because some random store listed it as rock (but they also listed it as pop and country lol).

Dessner posted a story of her with 11 hearts, plus he was on the road with her quite a bit last year. I think he's likely involved.
There's also speculation its a full on collab album, give it's the tortured poets department and she refers to herself as the Chairman. A lot of artists were spotted leaving Electric Lady studio last year too.
EDIT: Not sure if this is legit or edited but

The imagery is kind of giving Folklore's cousin who lives in the city.
I'd be here for dream pop.

Woah I was convinced we weren’t getting a new album until the rerecordings were done.
Obviously perched but the title is kinda cringey to me lol

It's a shame she's about to launch on her new label right when UMG pulled their artists from TikTok. Lil Nas X made a TikTok (jokingly) saying with UMG artists off TikTok, it's time for small underground artists to have a chance, to which Camila commented "it's our time," implying she wasn't affected. But I just checked and looks like she deleted the comment so maybe she just didn't realize Interscope is under UMG lol

ok but if this went #1 we'd get Billboard reporting that this is the first #1 song with the word 'fart' in the title, right? rooting for this for that alone!

Pretty standard start for a song with a radio deal (I just assume this had one).
Anyway, didn't debut in the top 200 on US Spotify.

New single is dropping next week so they can probably let this go now. #7 is a decent peak for a song that never took off on streaming stateside.

Could go either way with Billboard but could be Midnights first week outside the top 10.

For such a perfectly managed debut era, they really fumbled this one. Kinda reminds of Camila Cabello who had a great debut era and a messy second.
At the end of the day the material was well received and the demand for her tour was extremely high, so she'll be fine (Camila couldn't say the same).
Next steps would be to release the deluxe with the four bonus tracks and push one as a single, imo.

If those are the three covers I don't really like any of them, but second would be my favourite. I like the pose of the third but the framing/positioning is awkward. EDIT: Per her online store, the second photo is one of four limited variants. The other three are to be revealed. Target exclusive: So I think there's... standard, four limited editions, Target = 6 variants so far?

Okay but can we have like actual remixes please? Instrumental, yes. Acappella, yes. Extended version, yes. Extended version of the instrumental? Pushing it a little. Slowed down/Sped up? BIN THEM. That continues to be the worst, laziest trend. Call up Eric Kupper. Try David Morales if you want a 90's throwback sound. Hell, go full meta and drag Shep Pettibone out of retirement. People troll the Willow and Anti-Hero remixes (deservedly) but at least those were actual remixes! The Elvira and Roosevelt remixes are still my go-tos over the originals.

It's cute but her voice sounds so thin for someone who we know has a strong voice? Her vocals don't match the energy of the instrumental, imo. It'll be a gay hit for sure tho.

Apparently "Slut!" originally featured The 1975, per someone who received a vinyl with the original credits?
Not sure how she would have turned enough vinyls around after removing him and there's no actual snippet of the song yet so who knows.

I just remembered the Late Night CD edition of Midnights was sold on her webstore a few weeks ago with a ship date of December 15 (this tracking week). Guess it was a very small number of copies available since the increase from last week is negligible (so far).

62k for Tate isn't far off from what Dua opened with for Future Nostalgia, and that was with multiple hits under her belt. Great start for her.

The Eras Tour concert film was nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement at the Golden Globes, her fifth nom overall.
