I really don't see Cheryl Cole doing anything there either. I'm STILL waiting for Joss Stone to really cross over and actually have her big moment, but in terms of someone totally unknown here, I'd got with Pixie Lott. Her album is awesome. It looks like "Boys & Girls" has flopped. I also think Tinie Tempah could do well at Urban/Rhythmic if he was to try. Possibly crossing over to Pop too. I think both "Pass Out" and "Written In The Stars" have a lot of potential but UK rappers never do well in the US. Tinie Tempah really needs to happen in the US. He's awesome!

Take That!!!! If there is a time for the US to reaccept boy bands/ Robbie Williams it is now. Progress is the album of the year IMO

I wish Nadine could cross over. She's got a great voice. With the right material she could be so good.

Everybody keeps saying they don't see Chery Cole doing anything, but honestly, could anybody really have seen Taio Cruz doing anything? What was so special about him before he crossed over?
Cheryl Cole has US artists that are seeking to work with her, and to be honest, all she needs is Dr.Luke/Benny Blanco, and she's got herself a US smash. I'd say Cheryl Cole is the next crossover artist.

^^ Trooth. It'll be so easy for Cheryl to launch something in the US, even if it's just a middling success. I wish Nadine could cross over. She's got a great voice. With the right material she could be so good. She does have a great voice; but she flopped hard. I didn't even think she'd do as badly as she did.

Both my mother and my sister have been stanning for Cheryl/'Fight For This Love' without any influence from me whatsoever. I don't think it's going to be that hard for her to make it here.

I think Katy B may have the best chance.
Don't think she'll be huge or anything (the accent and off-mainstream style won't allow it), but she could have success on a lower level like Ellie or maybe even Florence.
I also think Jessie J could do well here if she were first tamed a little bit, and made to drop the weird affectation of Do it Like a Dude.

One more possibility: Ed Sheeran.
This one reminds me of Jason Mraz:
