This is a really cool song, definitely one of the highlights of Teenage Dream. Not only do I expect this to be a huge hit for her but it's a little more different/unique sounding than the other dance-pop songs on radio so that's a plus.

I'm all for this being a single as long Last Friday Night gets released afterwards. It would be a horrible decision if they don't. Hopefully this song will continue her #1 streak. Yes, Last Friday Night would end it on a high note. I really want to hear that song all over the radio!

I was really hoping for "Last Friday Night". Hopefully it gets to be the next single. I think that they will release 5 singles from this album, assuming that this doesn't completely underperform (which I don't think it will).

this should do fine. easy top 10, could go much farther. im expecting a good video since i love cali gurls & fireworks videos. LFN should be next, but unlike a lot of you i dont think it should end the era.

Thank God they didn't choose Peacock. Thats probably the worst song on the album along with Pearl.
They should send Last Friday Night Next and give us either The One that got away or Hummingbird Heartbeat a bonus 6th single.

As much as this is a fan's perspective I do believe that (without re-release) it will go like this 1. california gurls 2. teenage dreams 3. firework 4. late January (winter single) E.T. if this is true 5. April (spring single) Last Friday Night 6. July Peacock (summer single) album closer. I would be shocked if they picked a fan favorite over an easy choice for a summer single

That would be obvious, ideal line-up. Everyone here seems to hate 'Peacock', but it's both stupid and catchy as hell, which makes me think that it would be a huge hit.

I like it, but E.T. is pretty standard so I'm really hoping they don't cut the album off - LFN needs to get out there!! Not getting the hate for Peacock either bar it's shoddy gimmick, easy single.

I would have rather "Peacock" been released, but this is fine with me as well. This will be huge, I say another #1.

Well, I'll be the negative nancy. This song sounds very amateur to me - musically, lyrically, and in terms of production. The chorus is cool (minus the hook - "you're an alien," etc.) and the bridge is kind of nice, but I don't see this doing incredibly well.

I predicted Firework going #1, against at least 90% of this board. I was right, therefore I'm gonna go out on a hinge and say FOURTH #1 HERE WE GO!

Blah way to ruin her #1 streak. Last Friday Night would have been the perfect choice.

REALLY!? FUCK YEAH!!!
Probably not the best choice but it's definitely the best song left on the album. Although I am partial to 'Not Like The Movies'.

Her first song to miss #1 on both charts this era, for sure.
I do like the song though.

Yay, this is an awesome choice for Winter! Spring should be Peacock or LFN, and then new song for the summer!! I'm loving everything about Katy and this era.
