Carrie, Taylor, Jason (and Kelly, too), Glen, The Band Perry, Blake, Miranda, Lady Antebellum, Reba, Dierks, and Gwyneth could be considered a Country representation with her Country Strong soundtrack contributions. Clearly, the Grammys went for the Country stars this year.

Dang, where's the urban/hip-hop representation this year? Hopefully Drake & Jay-Z/Kanye are added to the line-up.

The Grammy's twitter account just announced that Maroon 5 are performing. Could this be yet another performance of Moves Like Jagger, since that's the only thing M5 is nominated for?

Clearly, the Grammys went for the Country stars this year. That's a pretty sick lineup. I'll be watching for Carrie and a few others... Funny you mention that since Country has such little representation in the main categories this year. ???

On the previous page I posted a link from the bbc that state that gaga would be Both opening and closing the show. Not sure how accurate that is though. I hope it's true

They're performing their new single, "I Can't Lie." (note: this post is completely false and is just me wildly fantasizing about it being a single that would be in any way successful. )

I hope it's true Me too although the only reason why I'm doubting it is that no one else mentions GaGa when it comes to performing. I find it odd that BBC has and it ended there. Hmmm

For 3.5 hours the Grammy's need MORE performers. It's very underwhelming but the saving grace is it allows time for more categories to be aired that usually would not.

last year, final performers were done on the Thursday before. So we are about done here...maybe one more final surprise tomorrow morning...so bummed there isn't more rap performances. Was really hoping for Kanye and/or Jay-Z. Along with Gaga would make it an awesome show.

So FF are performing solo AND in the dance segment? AND Chris Brown? That seems stupid w/ no Gaga (Album of the Year nominee) or Kanye (most nominated artist, including Song of the Year and multiple bids per Rap Album/Song)!
We have 14 performances so far if Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Lil' Wayne are only in the dance segment and Civil Wars are paired w/ Taylor. Hopefully we get 2 more. Or some amazeballs collab from Gaga & Kanye.

I agree with that. They did cut alot of stuff, and killed people chances of being noticed more.

^ I agree some categories could be cut, but I don't see the reason behind gutting the more ethnic types of music. It's not like they broadcast the winners of those categories ayhow.

I wish Deadmau5 was performing by himself or just with the singer on 'Raise Your Weapon' BAAAAAAAAAAARF at the other performers in the 'Dance segment'.
