I've been meaning to make this for a while, but Cheryl started work on her 3rd album back in Febuary.
They set up submission for writers and producers and she's been working in LA on the album.
This will also serve as the bridgegap from 3W+MLR+New Material for the states. Presumably the UK will get extra tracks on it to suffice for what she adds from 3W and MLR.
A Rihanna duet was confirmed but there has been no news on it yet. Most say it will be her lead US single,.

She should just start by releasing 'Fight For This Love' here. Even as just a "buzz" single. The song is too good.

Sooooooooo........ now that she's off X-Factor, did we just lose any chances we had of a US debut?
And also, why no 3rd single from MLR? I know The Flood flopped but the album didnt do that terribly did it?

The album sold over 400k in the uk which is great considering it only produced one big hit. Tangled Up and Chemistry only sold a bit more and they had multiple hits.
I will.i.am still managing her then? ???

^vile.
If I were her, I'd stick with it; even prior to landing the X Factor job, she had all of these celebrities guffawing about her in the press, so it's not as if all hopes are dashed.

She should still go for a US career. She can do it. Her music isn't far off or anything from what's popular here. A few well-crafted pop songs and Chezza has a big US career on her hands. I love the Girls and everything...but Nadine obviously wants to go her own way and Nicola is releasing her own album. Now is not the time for a reunion.

Any word on what may be going on with this project? I'm still in X-Factor denial.

She made her firs public appearance since the show at the U.S. embassy the other day. Whether or not that means new music and an American debut, I'm not sure. I would put my money on a debut stateside next album.

Just listened to the full version of Just Live. Should have been on the last album.

Thanks for the articles.
Wish we could have some real info on her new album from some producers or Cheryl herself.

Cheryl is still in LA. She was seen leaving the recording studio a few days ago and worked on a track last week with will.i.am and Far East Movement.

Chery has reportedly re-recorded Cher Lloyd duet with Will.I.Am (which he blocked from her and Syco after the US show fiasco). Apparently, it is even being considered as her first single.

Apparently she's been offered a part in What To Expect When You're Expecting, which stars Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez. She's also in talks to guest star in episodes of How I Met Your Mother and Glee.

Girls Aloud are pretty much terrible but I heard the 3 Words album over lunch while I was eating at a pub in Jersey. Was shocked at how good it was. I had to actually Shazam Parachute and then I recognized her and realized it was the album when I also heard Fight For This Love. I am interested in her having an American career now and fully support the idea.

Tangled Up, Chemistry and Out Of Control are all better than 3 Words. Waiting for anything new from them, period! :(

Ugh, her solo music is awful! Nadine and Nicola aren't amazing either. They need to come off of it and just get back together.

I think I'm kinda interested in another solo Cheryl album than a GA one. Whatever people had as GA in their minds is gone. Group dynamics always change when one of them emerges as the star.

I want another album from her too, and I want it to be released here.
But looking back, I am glad she didn't get the XFactor job. It hasn't been nearly as popular or had as much effect as the UK version has. Trying to launch a US career through it could have just been a waste.

Dear Cheryl,
Stop whoring out make-up and get back to work on that debut U.S. album.
Love, me

RUMORS:- The first single is called 'Call My Name' and is produced by Alex Da Kid.
- ...or it's a different song featuring will.i.am and produced by Calvin Harris
- She recorded a Lana Del Ray leftover (an urban mid-tempo)
- She has a song on her album called 'Screw You'
...and it's confirmed that she and Jim Beanz have a record called 'This Is War'.
