Exciting! Should definitely be interesting to discover which direction Miranda follows this time. I'm, naturally, expecting this next record to sonically resemble Revolution.

There's also this website made to announce the album: www.whatis11111.com/Really hoping we get a lead single here pretty soon (between now and August). <3

I can't wait! I'm not so sure I like the title, but I'm excited nonetheless.

I'm beyond excited for this! However, I'm curious to see if it can live up to the fantastic "Revolution" record in terms of quality.

Miranda cut Kacey Musgraves' "Mama's Broken Heart" for this album:
It's a great song and I can already envision Miranda's voice on it. I'm also glad Kacey is finally getting some cuts - she deserves it.

It's hard to believe "Revolution" came out nearly two years ago -- it still sounds so fresh and I still listen to it at least once a week. I'm beyond excited for the new album! Miranda always delivers.

Miranda always delivers. IA. Revolution is my top album on Last.fm, and it doesn't look like anything is going to surpass it for quite some time given its big lead. I just love it and think it (and her other two albums, too) is perfect and I'm super excited for this record. She always delivers for me.

I am forever appreciative of Typo sharing that link with us a month ago in the Country forum. I am addicted to it and cannot wait for Miranda's version. This album will probably be the biggest Country album of the Fall.

I guess Carrie's might sell better initially but Miranda will probably get the massive debut single and massive backing from music critics, and her career is still building and getting bigger and bigger while Carrie has already been on top and is plateauing big time.

Miranda debuted a new song titled "Baggage Claim" in concert this past Friday: And, according to this Uncommon Music concert review dated 5/18/11, Miranda cut a Brandi Carlile song for this album: "Same Old You," which will be recorded by Miranda Lambert in the near future You can view video of Brandi performing said song over here. I guess Carrie's might sell better initially but Miranda will probably get the massive debut single and massive backing from music critics, and her career is still building and getting bigger and bigger while Carrie has already been on top and is plateauing big time. Eh. I see both albums performing similarly.

but Miranda will probably get the massive debut single and massive backing from music critics, and her career is still building and getting bigger and bigger if thats the case then heres hoping that miranda doesnt have a "dead flowers" mistake to start this album. the situation for this album will be a lot diffrent than when revoultion started out. revoultion could afford the dead flowers mistake bec no one was really expecting anything from miranda at that point. for this 4th album, expectations will be unbelievably, and at times even if unfair, unreasonably high. theres a risk of huge letdown and disappointmnet if she doesnt deliver anything but a 5-star album.

Miranda cut Kacey Musgraves' "Mama's Broken Heart" for this album: Don't care too much for the other two. But LOVE this one!

Not to take this thread off-course or anything, but I'd highly recommend that anybody diggin' "Mama's Broken Heart" give a listen to some of Kacey Musgraves' other works. She's got a lot of great stuff up at her Myspace & ReverbNation pages.

"Baggage Claim" is the lead single: Miranda's producer, Frank Liddell, was interviewed by RowFax: Q: Artists’ writing chops; as they get better, they write more of their own material. Is this affecting the number of Carnival cuts?
A: Yes, it has diminished but I don’t have a problem with artists writing their record. What I have a problem with is when people who aren’t writers are writing for the money. My whole feeling is, if Willie Nelson can cut outside songs, everybody in this town can. Willie Nelson is one of the greatest American songwriters in the last 60 years. If somebody who is good enough to write “Crazy” can cut an outside song, then don’t walk into this town and say; ‘I’m too good for outside songs.’ Miranda’s new record has 14 new songs and she only wrote on 6 of them.

Hmm. I really do wanna like it but it just looks so tacky to me. And, I know everything is photo-shopped these days but I feel like every single shot of Miranda Lambert is unnecessarily shopped to hell.

I hate that font; does way too much. Nobody chooses great fonts anymore!

I really like the cover. Not nearly as good as Revolution's cover, but it's not bad by any means.

I love the album cover for this album. She has always delivered for me in that department, and this is her best yet. I love the flaming car, the font (especially how the emblem highlights her fan nickname 'Ran'), and she looks stunning.
Tracklisting looks good too. I'm super excited for this album. <3

"Better In The Long Run" is rumored to be a duet with Blake Shelton.
