~Sometimes you might get thirsty So, I'll catch the rain Just like the ice in your glass, I'll rattle when you need a drink You won't run dry of love or anything~
I wasn't feeling this one at all upon first listen but it's been stuck on repeat these past few days. It's great.

Ooooh! I really loved Safe. The whole feel of the song was great. Such a mellow Country-blues tune. Oh, and I hope that Miranda gets what she wishes for, and Mama's Broken Heart becomes the second single. It could (and probably would be) a multiple-week #1. I love it how the biggest hit of her career was originally Blake's song (and she nabbed it), and she took MBH, too. I'd love to see it become a big hit for her.

I love Fine Tune, but I'm not sure about it having single potential. A great album track, for sure, but I'm not sure how it'd do on record. Some may find it annoying.
But, I personally love it, and I think this album is on par with Revolution (maybe even better, based off of the 6 or 7 tracks we've heard already...?)

"Dear Diamond" is so captivating.
"Fastest Girl In Town" & "Over You" are the weakest songs on this album, to be honest. "Better In The Long Run" didn't do much for me either.

"Fastest Girl In Town" is one of my faves! I love her uptempos!
"Fine Tune" is fun and different!
loved "Safe", "All Kinds of Kinds", "Better on the Long Run" and "Easy Living"...
The album is great! Really loved it like I loved "Revolution"

My single choices: 01. Baggage Claim ----- 02. Mama's Broken Heart 03. Dear Diamond 04. Safe 05. Over 06. Better in the Long Run
I'd also want Easy Living in there, somehow. Hopefully they can make this era last longer than the Revolution era because there are a lot of gems on here.

Well, this is how I see it going:
01. "Baggage Claim" 02. "Mama's Broken Heart" 03. "Over You" 04. "The Fastest Girl In Town" 05. "Better In The Long Run"
I'd rather they be a little more adventurous, though:
01. "Baggage Claim" 02. "Mama's Broken Heart" 03. "Same Old You" 04. "Safe" 05. "Dear Diamond"

I'm trying not to listen to the leaks prior to Tuesday, but it's great to read all of the positive comments about the album. I loved Revolution and "Baggage Claim", so I have really high hopes.

It breaks my heart that some of you guys wouldn't like to see Dear Diamond as a single :(

I'm extremely excited for Tuesday. For me, Miranda has gotten better and better with each record. It's going to be hard for her to top Revolution, but I have faith that she can do it.

I decided to order the deluxe version on Amazon and will likely be able to listen on Sunday night! I love "Baggage Claim" and look forward to listening to the rest of the album.

I like this album on first listen. "Mama's Broken Heart," "Fine Tune" and "Look At Miss Ohio" are my favorites so far. "Dear Diamond" has to be the worst song she has ever recorded, I couldn't even make it through that mess. And "Over You" has been overrated too. It's OK/good, but not the masterpiece I was looking forward to based on this thread. Great album.

Acclaimanda currently has an 85 on Metacritic which matches both "Revolution" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfiend" (they also had an 85 average).

Here's How I Hope The Singles Go:
2.) 'Mamas Broken Heart' 3.) 'Same Old You' 4.) 'Fastest Girl In Town' 5.) 'Better In The Long Run'
Really solid album.

Really solid album. Not quite as immediate for me as Revolution was, but I can see it surpassing it in my opinion over time. I agree that "Mama's Broken Heart" would be a great choice for the next single. Since Miranda apparently wants it, I think there's a pretty good chance it will come next. I really want "Nobody's Fool" to be released at some point. Probably not next, or even third, but I could see it being a late hit, like "Heart Like Mine" was last time.

First listen: I'm not feeling it. It reminds me of something I'd hear in a bar in the wild wild west IMO.

I love this album! I think Fine Tune may be my favorite song on the album. I'm surprised considering I found the preview jarring. Nice to see I'm far from the only one who loves the song though; I was worried I'd be alone in that. First listen: I'm not feeling it. It reminds me of something I'd hear in a bar in the wild wild west IMO. Go sit where you belong, in the corner of the bar with your high heels on :kii:
