kelly_clarkson Kelly Clarkson Miranda Lambert's new album is RIDICULOUS!!! I love every song! "Fine Tune" is currently my jam! Seriously, she's one of the most talented artists out right now! Great music makes me happy :) ... say.ly/oVWWb23 hours ago

After more listens, I would rank the songs like this:
GREAT Mama's Broken Heart All Kinds of Kinds Fine Tune Look At Miss Ohio Same Old You Baggage Claim
Good: Safe Over You Nobody's Fool
OK: Easy Living Fastest Girl In This Town
No Thanks: Oklahoma Sky Better In The Long Run Dear Diamond
For singles, I predict Mama's Broken Heart will be next, then Over You, then Fastest Girl In This Town followed by one of the ballads, but I really wish All Kinds of Kinds would get released.

Dear Diamond is my top favorite, followed by All Kinds Of Kinds, Nobody's Fool, and Fine Tune. There's just something about Fine Tune. It's kind of sexy.
I'm also really digging the bonus track.

"RCA Nashville country comer Miranda Lambert’s critically lauded fifth studio album, Four the Record, is set for her biggest debut ever, with an estimated 125-140k. Her previous album, 2009’s Revolution, entered the chart with 66k in sales and went on to move 1.4 million in the U.S."

Good for her, though. Glad that her success these past years translated into higher album sales.

I've listened to the album a few times now, and so far I'm not feeling it nearly as much as Revolution. We'll see if it grows on me more. There's a few songs I love, but a lot of it I feel like I've already heard from her before. I think Revolution is still her best.

I love "Fine Tune"! The effect would ruin a lot of other songs, but it makes this one. I don't think it would be half as good or memorable without it.

This album is fantastic. I was surprised to hear such a mellow, refined, and almost morose album from her. It's definitely her most subdued, I think, but the fantastic writing makes it completely worth it. I love that she's a country singer that's willing to push boundaries and has yet to compromise her artistry. She's able to embrace aspects of traditional country and make them contemporary in her own way.
I'm done raving, and it's not without any faults, but I think it was gutsy for her to go pretty not-radio-friendly after Revolution and her big launch into stardom.
Over You is a real tear-jerker, and I hope it's a big hit. Nobody's Fool is also an excellently written song, I could see that as a bit of an out of left field single.

The Metascore is down to 78, but that's only because they mistakenly added a negative review of Lou Reed & Metallica's "Lulu" to Miranda's reviews. I e-mailed them about it.
My top 5 favorites right now are:
1. Look At Miss Ohio 2. Fine Tune 3. Easy Living 4. Over You 5. Baggage Claim

Rapper Wale arrives at No. 2 this week with his second effort, "Ambition," selling 164,000, while Miranda Lambert's "Four the Record" starts at No. 3 with 133,000. The previously mentioned Boyle begins at No. 4 with her third set, "Someone to Watch Over Me" (132,000). Source

I Love all the songs but "Mama's Broken Heart", "Look At Miss Ohio", and "Same Old You" need to be released as singles! I don't care in what order but if I don't hear all three of these songs on radio we all know a crime has just been committed!

"Mama's Broken Heart" needs to be the next single. I think that's the biggest hit on the album. I also really want "Nobody's Fool" to get released at some point.

Miranda Lambert might be just about everywhere these days, but things weren’t always like that for the Texas singer-songwriter. In an interview with W Magazine, she admits that things never came easily for the firecracker – that she had to fight to get to where she was. During her interview, she looks back at how she used to dress in Texas honky tonks to make sure that the men would listen to what she was singing instead of looking at her, and how the industry wasn’t sure what to do with her at first. She thanks Taylor Swift for being the reason that music fans are starting to take country music, and female songwriters, seriously: “Taylor Swift is a pop singer,” Lambert tells me. “But she really helped country music. When she hit, I was thinking, Thank God Taylor’s out there to show people we’re not cheesy. Some people still think that country music is twangy and cheesy, and they pigeonhole us. But I thought if they’re looking for Taylor’s videos or songs, they might see or hear other people they like. If her fans are watching for her, they might like me too.” www.keepinitcountryblog.com/2012/05/miranda-lambert-taylor-swift/#.T7u9grCfhqU.facebook

So I just heard "Mama's Broken Heart" on one of my local radio stations and the dj said that it was "Miranda's latest". Not sure if she meant the album or the song but I'm really hoping they will at least send one more song to radio! Anyone got any confirmation on this?
