Darius is hosting CC USA this coming weekend. Kane was running power up ads this week. Kane is almost certain to block Darius. Then we'll get Luke, followed by Dierks.

Unless Kane falls super hard this week I still think he will hold on for a second week. The gap between him and Luke is over 1,000 spins. Also are there a bunch of songs leaving this week? There seemed to be a lot of upward movement in the rolling chart on kworb.net.

Notes"Heaven" scores a second week at #1, with a chance of entering the top 15 on the Hot 100. "I Was Jack (You Were Diane)" and "Tequila" have a shot at entering the top 10. "Doin' Fine" appears to be done and has lost a good chunk of audience since last week.

Hey guys I'm back *crickets*. Jk ❤ Anyways I will hopefully do predictions no real commentary at least until the weather cools down and everything isn't like 100 degrees. I have gotten better at it. Mainly as I check daily on all the songs below the Mediabase Top 50 for a scope where they are audience wise Looking forward to it. lady𝓐fan I hope you still do it as well. You're also really great at it.

I’m really hoping this is the week Kane, Luke and Morgan all leave. Aldean, Thomas and Chris Lane are all looking to move into the top 10.

Morgan Wallen will but the other 2 are still Top 10 in spins so they will stay.. Considering how big of hits both songs are they deserve to stay on the chart for a long time as far as I'm concerned.

Sorry guys, no predictions this week. The panel change yesterday was real screwy and because of it I have no real idea of who stays on the chart and who leaves. I do know that Sam Hunt and Kane Brown ("Heaven") look to leave but beyond that I am clueless .
I will be back next week when hopefully there will not be a panel change and I have a more concrete idea of what's happening.
Sorry again.

raylatch98 Will you be resuming these predictions anytime soon? I can do them when you aren’t able to, I just need to know if you’re able to or not. I'll just do Top 30 for a while. Summer TV watching season. Been busy unfortunately. 1. Brett Young "Mercy" 2-5. Jason Aldean & Miranda Lambert "Drowns The Whiskey" 2-5. Kenny Chesney "Get Along" 2-5. Dan + Shay "Tequila" 2-5. Luke Bryan "Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset" 6. Thomas Rhett "Life Changes" 7. Morgan Evans "Kiss Somebody" 8. Chris Lane & Tori Kelly "Take Back Home Girl" 9-11. Florida Georgia Line "Simple" 9-11. Dylan Scott "Hooked" 9-11. Old Dominion "Hotel Key" 12. Carrie Underwood "Cry Pretty" 13. Russell Dickerson "Blue Tacoma" 14. Cole Swindell "Break Up In The End" 15-16. Chris Janson "Drunk Girl" 15-16. Garth Brooks "All Day Long" 17. Eric Church "Desperate Man" 18-19. Sugarland & Taylor Swift "Babe" 18-19. Chris Young "Hangin On" 20-21. Carly Pearce "Hide The Wine" 20-21. Maren Morris "Rich" 22. LANco "Born To Love You" 23-24. Kane Brown "Lose It" 23-24. Mitchell Tenpenny "Drunk Me" 25. Luke Combs "She Got The Best of Me" 26. Jimmie Allen "Best Shot" 27. Brothers Osborne "Shoot Me Straight" 28. Kip Moore "Last Shot 29. Kelsea Ballerini "I Hate Love Songs" 30. Dierks Bentley & Brothers Osborne "Burning Man" I am convinced that all 3 of Lady Antebellum, Justin Moore, and Keith Urban/Julia Michaels will go recurrent as it seems like all of their losses are enough to be sent recurrent.

Sorry but these are not predictions and I didn't know where else to ask this. I just heard the song "Good Little Girls" by Blue County and remembered the song peaked at #11 on Billboard. Is there a thread dedicated to songs that barely missed the Billboard top 10? Basically what I mean is #11 peaking songs.

I'm absolutely stunned at how many A-listers are just CRAWLING along. From tonight's Billboard chart: - Eric Church's "Desperate Man" down 17k
- Blake Shelton's "Turnin' Me On" up only 332k
- Jason Aldean's "Girl Like You" up only 290k
- Kenny Chesney's "Better Boat" up only 132k
- Carrie Underwood's "Love Wins" up only 255k
- Keith Urban's "Never Comin' Down" up only 290k
- Rascal Flatts' "Back To Life" up only 461k
It's just unreal how badly all of these artists are struggling, because a typical single from each of them would normally gain at least 300k a DAY, let alone in a week. I know "Desperate Man" has poor callout and RF doesn't have a lot of momentum, but it's just crazy how radio seems to be cooling on Keith, Carrie, and Kenny at the same time, and even Blake and Jason a bit.
To be fair, really no one outside the top 30 is doing much of anything right now, aside from the new Old Dominion single...and radio is clearly ready to make OD an A-list artist if they're not there already. Inside the top 30 Thomas Rhett and Dan + Shay are doing well, and the Dierks/Brothers Osborne collab is doing relatively well too. And Tim is off to a pretty good start, but that was to be expected since "Neon Church" is his first solo single for Sony.
Artists like Midland, Chris Stapleton, Dustin Lynch, Jordan Davis, Riley Green, and Scotty McCreery have obviously racked up a lot of weeks on the chart and moved really slowly before they were in the top 30 (and none of them is exactly moving up fast right now either), but it's crazy how each of them was able to outgain Blake, Jason, Kenny, Carrie, and Keith this past week. McCreery is a big enough name so it makes sense that he's starting to pick up the pace a bit, and Stapleton should be doing a lot better than he is, but does radio really think listeners would rather hear the latest tunes from Midland, Dustin Lynch, Jordan Davis, and Riley Green as opposed to the latest songs from superstars like Aldean, Chesney, Underwood, and Urban?
It was also pretty annoying to see Michael Ray blast ahead of Kenny and Keith a few weeks back, but thankfully "One That Got Away" has stalled on the cusp of the top 30. Silver lining: at least the singles by Granger Smith and Rodney Atkins haven't even reached the top 40 after 20+ weeks on the chart, so those are two songs that radio is getting it right with...

This is a very odd chart in general. "Simple" has the lowest audience numbers I can remember seeing for a #1 song, with not even 38 million audience impressions. That's really low, especially for this time of the year when the numbers usually creep up. It seems like most of the songs on the chart are having slow gains right now, other than Luke Combs. I'm really curious as to why radio isn't moving a couple of clear big hits up sooner, and those songs are: "Speechless", "Burning Man", and "Down To The Honkytonk". These 3 three songs have really good sales numbers, but seem to be moving pretty slow considering their obvious audience appeal.

Let the race for this coming weeks #1 begin between Luke and Cole.

Let the race for this coming weeks #1 begin between Luke and Cole. I would expect Cole Swindell to get the #1 on Mediabase but I think Luke will take the Billboard #1 pretty easily, and that should mean at least 2 weeks at #1 for "She Got The Best of Me".

I’m fine with Luke Combs getting 2 weeks. I just hope Chris Janson can get at least one week but I have a feeling he’s gonna get blocked by Chris Young if not Kane Brown. I’m totally fine with both of them being #1 but Chris Janson’s song is ahem totally deserving of being a #1 single.

I feel really bad for missing last week's predictions so I'll try and do them this upcoming week.
Some mental notes.
Holy hell is it difficult to chart. Over 1 million in audience just needed to chart on Billboard.
Also even though some of these songs I am not a fan of, I am mortified that there is are only 8 songs on the airplay chart with a credited female prescence (Maren Morris, Sugardland/Taylor Swift, Mindy Smith, Carrie Underwood, Danielle Bradbery, Maddie & Tae, Hillary Lindsey, and Rachel Wammack). Disgusting.
Anyways, heading into next week the following songs are eligible to go recurrent and get the hell out of there.
Old Dominion "Hotel Key" Florida Georgia Line "Simple" Rodney Atkins "Caught Up In The Country" Uncle Kracker "Floatin" Randy Houser featuring Hillary Lindsey "What Whiskey Does"
Hopefully at least the first few go recurrent because Old Dominion and FGL have peaked ans both Rodney Atkins and Uncle Kracker are doing nothing on the chart it seems like.
