The song titles of Gretchen Wilson's seem intriguing. I see that Country artists are starting to not really care about the quality of their album covers, though. Gretchen looks cropped and the font of her name looks weird, and while I love the font on TBP's new cover, I think the picture of the three of them is awkward.

Gretchen looks cropped and the font of her name looks weird, and while I love the font on TBP's new cover, I think the picture of the three of them is awkward. I agree that Gretchen's album cover is pretty bad but otherwise I've really liked most of the new covers we've seen recently. I actually really like TBP's and Brad's is great. I find myself quite drawn to Maggie Rose's album cover and I think Blake's is alright. The best, though, is definitely Kacey Musgraves'. Anyway, I see we don't have a cover or track list for Thomas Rhett's scheduled March 19th release, so my guess is that it's been pushed back. Not that I plan on getting that one anyway, but...two top 20 singles and no album? What's it gonna take? Also, Amazon lists an album (no title listed) by Tate Stevens scheduled for release on April 23. That seems way too early to me. It's barely 2 months away. The lead single is just now at radio but doesn't go for adds until March 11. Between now and April 23 is just way too short a time...I don't care if he just won X-Factor. RCA needs to wait until June or July.

I'm not a big fan of Gretchen's new cover either, but I'm excited about getting new music from her regardless. I do love the Pioneer cover though. It's one of my favorites in recent memory. I really like how simple it is, but it's still really effective for me.
Kinda surprised that Thomas Rhett's album might be pushed back. He had two pretty significant hits, so it seems ridiculous to not go ahead and release it. ???

^^ and Thomas is out on the road with Dierks and Miranda right now which would be excellent exposure for a release next month. Odd.

Thomas will play first, then Jake Owen, then Aldean. I know "Beer With Jesus" got off to a fast start and then kinda hit a brick wall right on the cusp of the top 20, but I still think his label should just put the album out there. It probably wouldn't have huge sales but...they're running the risk of it having no sales if a 3rd single doesn't fare all that well. See Eldredge, Brett and Wesley, James.

^Yep, count me in as loving Martina's last Album. I think they botched the single choices though.

I thought Eleven was a great album, and I cannot wait for her next album. Hopefully she releases better singles and stops releasing the same type of sappy love songs. They are not always bad but they are similar
I wish Whatcha Gonna Do had gotten a release, or One Night. Even Broken Umbrella would have been better

Six! lol
I loved Eleven and think it was her best album since 'Evolution', there was so many great songs that could've been singles it's a shame that they'll remain album tracks. I did like the single choices though, I really loved "Teenage Daughters" and IGLYTI was okay. Really loved "Marry Me" though and thought that was gonna smash...guess they should've gone with either "You Can Get Your Lovin' Right Here" or "Summer Of Love" instead. or my favorite "Always Be This Way".

Yay for "fun" Lady A returning!!!! But that cover isn't doing anything for me. Hillary looks great. The guys... awkward. But I do like the golden hue.

Pretty cheap album cover imo. Reminds me of one of those Icon album covers that I see every now and again. They better have some darn good songs this time.

A friend told me "Golden" (the song) is ultra-substantial for Lady A, so I have high hopes despite being indifferent towards the lead single thus far. Absolutely awful cover though.

Not here for the album cover of Lady A's new one, but I've got my fingers crossed that it's still a huge improvement over the last two records. The promise of no strings makes it seem like they are really switching it up, and I do love "Downtown."

Well I guess I'm in the minority, lol. I really love that Lady A album cover. I wish they would've gone with the font they've used in the past though, but otherwise I like the simplicity of the cover.
It is a little odd though, that they have Dave looking away, lol. It's like "Charles, Hillary...look to the camera and smile. Dave...you're the one who doesn't sing, so look to the side and don't smile." Kinda funny, at least to me, but funny in a 'silly' way and not a 'bad' way because I actually do find the cover to be visually appealing.

I know Little Big Town has done this before with some of their covers. I think it may just be a band thing or something, lol.

Yeah, a lot of bands do that - it's become somewhat of a joke with my husband's family. Whenever we go on vacation we have to take a "band album cover" picture which features no less than 2 people looking off ... somewhere. We're special. ;)

There are several youtube's out there of Golden the song. IMO it sounds just like all the other ballads they have done. That being said, I loved it and prefer that sound vs the Sound of "Downtown"

Finally, I enjoy an album cover and everyone else hates it. I like it. It's a simple picture, the font doesn't look cheap, and the glossy effect doesn't bother me. I enjoy it. I'm excited for the album!

The average fan couldn't care less about album covers. As for me - not the average fan - I think it's important to have an appealing cover. This one is simple. Simple ALWAYS is better than busy.

I like The Band Perry's album cover. I think the cover for Blake's album and the cover for Alan Jackson's album are really poor. As for the Lady A cover I like it but I think they could have done something more creative with the font.
