Yes!!! One of my favorite Katy song's. I don't care if it flops, I'm glad it's being released. Nobody's forcing anyone to listen to it(and I highly doubt any of you listen to the radio more than an hour or two at most a day)...

#TeamHummingbirdHeartbeat
This is certainly the best of the new songs though.
I smell a huge fat flop (which has nothing to do with the song's quality).
"Hummingbird Heartbeat" would have been an easy Top5 on CHR.

I love Katy and I like this song, but this release was so unnecessary.

I like this and it's less upbeat like "Thinking Of You" was...so it's going to flop. Womp womp. lol

This is one of her best songs. I think this will be another big hit for her.

This is truly the era that never f**king ends. This is true. The era is nearly two years old now, eight singles deep. When is the last an era produced eight full-fledged singles? Insane! I really hope this is the final single. If I had it my way, this would've been released over "Part of Me," and both "Part of Me" and "Dressin' Up" would remain album tracks.

Rihanna went 7 with Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded. Dunno any others. Gaga technically went 7 as well with The Fame (Monster). Never really considered that a "re-release" though.

Ke$ha went 6 deep. Should've gone 7, imo.

There's no point in releasing this. It's boring, and she is running this era into the ground.

PERFECT CHOICE. I love this song, it's bound to be another Top 5 for her!

Ke$ha went 6 deep. Should've gone 7, imo. Agreed. 2 singles from an album/EP is nothing. Sleazy or Cannibal would have been great choices.

CU.Next Tuesday would've been great, and would give her more options now as an artist. Same with The Harold Song. Either of those two would've been good choices.

PERFECT CHOICE. I love this song, it's bound to be another Top 5 for her! yup, plus it will coincide with her 3D movie coming out. ;) Even if it just hits the top 20, how is that bad? It's the 8th single.

I am going to...disagree with my contemporaries! I love this and I bet that it'll surprise a lot of people. Follow up to a #1 BB hit and #3 CHR hit? I say go for it.

I don't get the hate. I think it's way better than 'Part Of Me'.

I don't get the hate. I think it's way better than 'Part Of Me'. Well, it's from the same people who hate on anything Katy does so there should be no surprises really. Lol

This will be much more enjoyable to hear on the radio than Part of Me, that's for sure. I would have preferred Dressin' Up, though.

I think this is a good way to end the era. I'm sure her and her label know this isn't a hit.
It'll do something and you all will deal. Though I think releasing it as summer ends would fit so perfectly but that's too late from now.

Wide Awake is my favorite song from this entire era of singles. That probably means it will flop unfortunately :(

Oh wow, so she's going with this after all. Hopefully the final single though. :)
Doubt this song is going to be Katy's nth summer smash though, it's too mellow even though I love its instrumentals.

fuuuuuuuck. dressing up myself & crying rn tbh. </3
On the CHR/Pop chart, I don't think this will have too much trouble reaching the top ten, but it definitely won't perform as well as the preceding seven singles. For some reason I keep thinking of this as a #5 peaker, but logically, I see this peaking in the #6 to #9 range. On the Hot 100, it will definitely need a performance or a huge video effect to manage to sell enough to reach the top ten.

It amazes me how people don't understand that just because someone doesn't think something sounds like a hit single doesn't mean they necessarily think it's a bad song. Whether or not this is "better" than "Part of Me" says nothing about its hit potential.

So glad this is the final single being released. It's so much more enjoyable than POM.
