^ I agree. He was on a roll and, all of a sudden, now he's not, and at this point one weak day is enough to switch my point of view. I give her a 70% chance to get a second week on Billboard now.
Of course if he has a +700k swing tomorrow, all bets are off.

Can someone tell me how to find Billboard's real-time tracker? cclamp.radioandrecords.com/RRWebSite20/It alternates at the bottom of this page through all the genre charts, sit there for a good minute and stare, and Carrie's name will pop up.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and every 5-10 seconds or so it switches, this is Carrie's update as of 10 seconds ago... Country No.1 Carrie Underwood Blown Away +8163 Hunter Hayes Somebody's Heartbreak It's to the right of the poll about the economy.

Blown Away had a slight gain in spins and AIs this morning as compared to yesterday, and gets a 2nd week at #1 on Mediabase.

Blown Away had a slight gain in spins and AIs this morning as compared to yesterday, and gets a 2nd week at #1 on Mediabase. And a 2nd week at Billboard is practically sealed tight as Lee actually lost some AIs today. "Blown Away" is also the hot song of the week on the Top 40 countdown, which gives it the extra spin advantage as well.

Yay for 2 weeks at No. 1 for Blown Away! I'm so glad it was able to beat out Lee for that second week. I was getting a bit worried.

Carrie will be co-hosting Lon Helton's Top 30 Countdown next week. Wow they really want that 3rd week at #1.

Inside Your Heaven reached #1 on billboard 100. So it's included in her #1s collection I was wondering Mediabase peaks, not Billboard. Just plain #1s from spins on radio.

She has peaked in audience, and we're not even completely sure that she's gonna get the 2nd week at #1 on Billboard Airplay (though I agree it seems likely). But, Lee is likely to be within 500k on tomorrow's chart and I can't possibly see Carrie holding on to such a slim lead for the whole week.

^That's the full Billboard Airplay chart, not the Real Time Tracker.
The RTT website appears to be having some issues loading. It's been like that for a while for me now. I have to wait a good minute or two for the page to fully load and display properly, and then the RTT shows to the right of the Economy poll. It might not display at first, but you can tell it's there by clicking your mouse there and dragging down and to the right...it highlights the text you can't see until the page is fully loaded. Sometimes, you may have to refresh the page.
Country No.1 Carrie Underwood Blown Away +13301 Taylor Swift Begin Again
As a reminder, it's not actually a "real time" tracker anymore. It updates once daily, usually in the early morning hours (like, after midnight). And it won't display on Mondays at all. It's pretty much only a good indication as to who is gaining the most, and is more of a "#1 tracker" than a "real time tracker". Of course, most of the people reading this probably already knew that, but thought I'd post the reminder just in case..

^Thanks. Clicked on the blank space next to the economic poll, and the tracker appeared. Took forever to start updating, but after a few minutes it did and worked fine after that.

Carrie will be co-hosting Lon Helton's Top 30 Countdown next week. Wow they really want that 3rd week at #1. That has been scheduled for weeks. I think when the "gig" was scheduled, they expected BA to be peaking, or on its way. In other words, it wasn't scheduled to push for a third week, as one week was in question at the time. It was just the approximated time that BA would be peaking, and it looks like they hit the nail on the head, so to speak.

Unless Billboard's audience radio is drastically different than Mediabase, Carrie has surely locked up a second week at #1 on BB. Lee Brice will have his turn next week...

Unless Billboard's audience radio is drastically different than Mediabase, Carrie has surely locked up a second week at #1 on BB. Lee Brice will have his turn next week... While I agree that Carrie is more likely to be #1 than Lee, I don't think it's nearly that set in stone. A big swing in tomorrow's update could really cloud things. If you look at my predictions, you'll see I've got Carrie projected to only finish about 400k ahead of Lee, and I was pretty gracious to BA, not dropping it all that much, so it actually may land closer to 38.3 million or so. Now, I know that Carrie got an extra spin on CC-USA today, but we have seen times in the past where the label of the song sitting at #2 pushed hard on a Sunday, splitting the charts...Lee has been doing great so it's definitely possible that Curb's promotion people could've been on the phones working for just a few more spins today, in hopes that Lee would edge ahead of Carrie. In the end, I'll stick with my projections, and say Carrie is #1 by a few hundred thousand AI's, but it doesn't take much to erase a small deficit like that, which is why I don't think it's set in stone. Carrie will probably be #1, but I'm just merely pointing out the possibility that Lee has a decent chance of sneaking by.

^ Lee actually lost Audience today for some reason, which makes me think that the label might not be pushing too hard for a #1 this week. He has a pretty wide lead on everyone below him, so they shouldn't have any worries about him reaching #1 next week.

He has a pretty wide lead on everyone below him, so they shouldn't have any worries about him reaching #1 next week. I know, but I wouldn't really call a 27k drop "losing audience". And I did factor today into his average daily gain for the week in my projections, and even with today and the last few slower days, he was only projecting to finish about 400k below her. In any case, he still jumped up a bunch of spins today. Curb might be playing nice and letting Carrie get that 2nd #1 on both charts, but it's also possible that they want Lee to get there on Billboard tomorrow, just like BBR pushed Jason to the top a few weeks back, when he was right behind Hunter ("Wanted" got 2 weeks on Mediabase, but only 1 on Billboard). I'm sure that Lee could hit #1 tomorrow if Curb wanted to get him there this soon, but they might figure it's not a big deal, since they will still get at least 1-2 weeks at #1 for Lee anyway. In other words, they know Carrie's team was trying really hard for that 2nd week at #1, so while they potentially could stop her from getting it, it's not like Lee's gonna have any trouble being #1 a week from now anyway. "Hard To Love" will probably be 5+ million ahead of Luke Bryan on tomorrow's Billboard chart.

A second day of gains for BA (+33 spins, +185k AIs). Lee's HTL kept pace.

Lee's effort just stopped cold after his good Thursday gains. He was on pace, and then he stopped pushing. He will easily take #1 next week, so he wasn't in an urgent situation.
It's true we don't know the BB translation yet, but it looks like he'll wait his turn there.

Anyone think a 3rd week at Billboard is possible? After all, it is still gaining... What if, just what if HTL stalled, and BA kept gaining, or at least kept steady? It is possible, no? Not likely at all, but if you look at it, a 2nd week wasn't likely either at one point!
Just being optimistic, but I'm very happy with 2 weeks.

Anyone think a 3rd week at Billboard is possible? Well when Curb is involved, anything is possible... but it's more likely we get "Blown Away" by this superstorm next week.
