Given the poster in question, I shouldn't be surprised such a basic mistake was made. Anyway, Put Your Lovin' On Me should have been on the album. So fucking hot. It should be a single.

Blurred Lines will debut at #1 with 130-140k next week. *** A Beautiful World debuted at #152 with 5k (65k to date). The Evolution of Robin Thicke debuted at #45 with 20k (1.6m to date). Something Else debuted at #3 with 136k (435k to date). Sex Therapy debuted at #9 with 123k (442k to date). Love After War debuted at #22 with 41k (202k to date). This is what I hope happens... Since they didn't expect it to smash this hard and he went in the studio with Dr. luke late in the album process I expect 2-3 hits this era. I want them to promote the record the rest of this month to get it close to gold. I hope they let this song die out and push Give it to me in September (it seems like the only song on the album that can be a hit that follows up this smash...then songs like ooh la la or top of the world or something else can follow it. he needs two solid hits in a row and then the 3rd single can benefit off of that. So next week Robin will have the #1 album on billboard and he will be #1 on: airplay sales pop hot ac urban urban ac rhythmic OMG...this is a crazy mega hit. Was we belong together the last song to achieve this Anyways, I need the single line to be like this Blurred lines For the rest of my life to urban ac only Give it to me all formats Ooh la la all formats Top of the world (this song would so relate to his key demographic though)/Pressure to close the album

The irrelevants and nonfactors posting their opinion on my opinion as if it is a fact. Ha. My impact to get under people's skin while totally focused on the actual subject matter... Now that you all have gotten your repressed aggression out of your systems why not share your thoughts on the album instead of doing the exact same thing I did but in reverse.
As I said, I'd like for him to not focus on promoting a new single until this single dies down. Then I need for Give it to you to start it's run in September I would love to see a video for Top of the world but it might be a decent tour performance and not a single. Regarding For the rest of my life, since urban ac is already playing for the rest of my life then I can see it then crossing over to urban and rhythmic in December then releasing Ooh la la after that in March.

"Take It Easy On Me" reminds me of Laid Back's "White Horse" a lot. Makes me love the song even more because of that and of course the Timbo signature sound.

Why is it that people think by cursing that it drives their point across? It's unfortunate that you allowed me to get under your skin and that you needed to react so emotionally and spill your feelings in the air but you have to realize that you don't have the power to dictate what opinions i keep to myself vs. ones that i express. You don't have the credentials to verify your statements but that's ok. I hope you were able to get your internet behind the computer key pounding aggression out. I mean that's what real men and women do. Good night...sleep tight. ;) So yes, here for give it to you, then for the rest of my life followed by either ooh la la or top of the world.

BMAC aint got no time for passive aggressive attitude and if you keep poking that bear don't be surprised at the reaction you get. Maybe come up with a list on how to behave in a civil manner towards others instead of going on and on about who's thirsty and impact and other buzz words.

Why don't some people understand the difference between checking FOR someone and checking someone? If I was checking for a certain someone, he/she/it would be followed and I would receive notifications as to her/his/its activity. Alas, I don't. Therefore, by Pulse definition, I am not checking for he/she/it. It is very crucial to understand the difference. Otherwise, you run the risk of walking around with an exaggerated sense of self-worth and value. See: Amanda Bynes. The last thing anyone around here wants is to promote undiagnosed schizophrenia!

BMAC aint got no time for passive aggressive attitude and if you keep poking that bear don't be surprised at the reaction you get. Maybe come up with a list on how to behave in a civil manner towards others instead of going on and on about who's thirsty and impact and other buzz words. Interesting, reading comprehension is essential. I love how the gang is defending deplorable behavior and then turning it around as if initiated any jabs. Only on a message board would people see no issue in that. NOw what exactly happened when I merely posted my opinion on this era. The bear poked me...it tickled so I laughed. Schooled it and put it to shame. I mean, I can't really tell the difference between a big mac or a junior whopper but for some reason I was targeted for my opinion with another opinion (stated as a fact). Haha. Note: I almost feel like there was bad blood from the past when I used to regularly post; however, nonfactors I can't recall so I can't tell whether I rejected her and she's bitter or what. The bitterness is real. Hehehehe. So the moral of your biased story is that internet gangsters can target a person for having an opinion that differs from their instead of accepting a differing opinion but the person actually addressing the subject matter (get that) victimizes the person taking the jabs. You would justify bad, unnecessary and inconsequential behavior for loyalty...speaks volumes about you. But as Big mac stated below you...blah blah blah to the first part but the end part. Realizing that after being called out on nonsense and unable to defend one's self any further. Let's get back to Robin. My focus was on robin to begin. Everyone can't say the same. So let's see: here for give it to u promo in september letting for the rest of my life explode on urban ac and then being released in the winter Ooh la la Torn between top of the world and pressure. We'll just have to wait and see how this era plays out.

I really love the first three songs on the album, but after one full listen, nothing else grabs me as much as those do, though there are plenty I like enough. Solid, but I'll stick to the first three for now and see if the rest grows on me later.

I am now obsessed with The Good Life. Never Give Up was good but it was overwrought and too Broadway. The Good Life though...yes.

This is a really solid Pop/R&B album. It is much better than Love After War & Something Else. Hope he can keep the momentum going because he should be doing numbers like this all the time.
Favorite Tracks (in no particular order): Go Stupid 4 U Pressure Put Your Lovin' On Me Give It 2 U (w/out 2Chainz) 4 The Rest of My Life Feel Good Blurred Lines

music.yahoo.com/news/boy-just-wants-fun-thicke-loosens-143438778.htmlThis boy just wants to have fun: Thicke loosens upAssociated PressBy MESFIN FEKADU | Associated Press NEW YORK (AP) — Robin Thicke is enjoying a pop culture moment with the upbeat Marvin Gaye-esque single "Blurred Lines," but the song didn't click with his record label when he previewed it last summer. "The record company didn't get it. They didn't even pay for the video. They didn't want to support it at all. Remy Martin paid for the video," said the 36-year-old crooner, who is a spokesperson for the liquor brand with his wife, actress Paula Patton. "And as soon as the record company saw the video, they said, 'This is a smash.'" The ubiquitous "Blurred Lines" is the longest-running No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this year with nine weeks on top. The video — the unrated version with nude models prowling was banned from YouTube — has more than 125 million views. The title track from Thicke's fifth album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week after selling 177,000 copies units, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Thicke mostly wrote and produced the album, released by Universal Music's Interscope Records, with assists from will.i.am, Dr. Luke, Timbaland and Pharrell, his frequent collaborator since 2006. The 11-track set features a funkier, up-tempo sound that's somewhat of a departure for the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, best known for his bedroom grooves "Lost Without U" and "Sex Therapy." In an interview with The Associated Press, Thicke talked about the song's success, switching up his style and what's up next. AP: Did "Blurred Lines" sound like a hit to you? Thicke: It did to me, and then I went into the record label and I played it for the heads of the label, head of pop radio ... and everybody just went, 'Nice. Nice.' Got no response; was kind of surprised by that. A few months later went back in, played it again like, 'I think we have enough records here. I think we've got four or five really strong singles' — or at least four or five options for singles. AP: How does it feel now that the song is a smash around the world? Thicke: (Puts up middle finger and laughs.) Nah, I'm just kidding. AP: Did you finish recording the album before "Blurred Lines" took off? Thicke: I always write about 40 or 50 songs per album. I had some stuff that I normally write — some slower, soulful, more depressing in some ways, introspective-type stuff. 'Blurred Lines' started to take off ... so I went in the studio and I recorded three new songs that were up-tempo and funk. AP: Why do you think the song is connecting with so many people? Robin: The reason why 'Blurred Lines' is breaking records is because rarely do you have a song playing on all pop stations and all black stations, all of the urban stations. And because I have an urban fan base and urban audience, I wonder if it was a brand-new artist, would they play ('Blurred Lines') on black radio? I don't think so. They might not. ... Someone was like, 'It's like (OutKast's) "Hey Ya!'" AP: How do you think the naked video helped push the song to the top of the charts? Thicke: I had just enough fans to get some people into it at the beginning, and then the naked video was just so good, it was kind of the thing people immediately say, 'Have you seen this?' — which is kind of what (director) Diane (Martel) wanted to do. She's been loving my music for 10 years, she's like, 'I can't believe you're not a bigger star.' ... She said, 'I think if ... we do a funny, silly video with topless girls, everybody's going to have to know who Robin Thicke is.' AP: After all of the success, do you feel different? Thicke: Absolutely. I went into the album with all kinds things in my head like, 'Why didn't my last album sell? How come?' I guess I need to freshen it up. I need to take some chances. I need to do something new. ... So I did want to push the boundaries and work with some hitmakers to see if they could help me and luckily it all worked out. But the good thing is I didn't have to change who I am and what I like. And I almost did. I sang a couple songs I would not have been proud of if I released them. AP: What are your thoughts on the controversy (some critics called the video and lyrics offensive to women)? Thicke: For all the controversy and all this other stuff that people try to make it seem like that's more important, what's really important about music and entertainment is to entertain and make people feel good. AP: Your past albums were less playful and deeper in content than "Blurred Lines." How did you loosen up? Thicke: I loved the albums just the way they are. I have no regrets ... but I figured I don't want to be one thing; I have to take some chances. AP: What's next? Thicke: I want to get right in the studio. I want to make a country album, a Christmas album, a gospel album. I'm like finally! I'm ready to make four albums right now.

T4P. Interesting to read!! No to country album. Yes to a Christmas album. Gospel album? maybe. I'm very happy for him to get all the success for this album. BTW, He needs to milk this album out like how Katy did to TD. This album is full of single material

I definitely want him and Interscope to pimp the hell out of this album. I want it to be his best-selling yet. Unless he goes back in the studio for a re-release, I don't hear anything that would blow up on Pop like his first two singles. "Give It 2 U" might be so huge that the third single may get a lot of initial play out of the gate, though.
