Haven't heard this yet, but they have like 12 straight top 10s dating back to 1995. Not quite... :) 10 of their 12 charted singles hit the top 10, but "Big Machine" and "Sympathy" peaked at #11.

what a surprise, another mid tempo/ballad from the goo goo dolls. Unfortunately i think their time has passed. www.alternativeaddiction.com has this song streaming under the "goo goo dolls" story.

Thanks. :) I wasn't sure about the peaks off of thier album "Gutterflower". what a surprise, another mid tempo/ballad from the goo goo dolls. Unfortunately i think their time has past. www.alternativeaddiction.com has this song streaming under the "goo goo dolls" story. I disagree with thier time having passed. Thier latest album produced a #3 hit, a #5 hit, and a #8 hit. That was better than thier previous album.

Their prime may have passed, but I still think they've got a few top 10 hits left in them!
I can't wait to hear this!! I doubt I'll be disappointed.

They are my favorite band, but this is definitely going to have to grow on me. I like it, but I don't love it. It's probably their weakest single to date. I can't even see this going top 20 on Hot AC, and that's really sad.

This grew on me really fast! I love it! This will be one of my personal summer smashes. I hope the same is true for Hot AC.

Good to hear! I only heard the clip, but I really liked it. It will probably chart very well on my personal chart. They are my 3rd favorite band. This will probably have the biggest bullet on Hot AC soon, when Daughtry and Lifehouse cool down some.

Just saw it performed on The Tonight Show. That should help boost awareness of this song.
My first time hearing it. I like it but it's not one of my favorite songs they've done. Could grow on me though, especially if WXMA adds it so I hear it a bit on radio.
It reminded me a little bit of Lifehouse's "You and Me" for some reason.

I love this song, but most Hot AC stations are keeping it on very limited rotation, and even backing off on it - which isn't a good sign for Goo Goo Dolls, who usually fly into heavy rotation quickly on Hot AC

This is almost top 20!
28 22 GOO GOO DOLLS Before It's Too Late... 2007 Warner Bros. 674 527 147 2.959
Personally, I think this song is thier strongest since "Iris", another "movie" song from one of my all-time favorite bands The Goo Goo Dolls. I think it deserves to make it to #1. I'm hoping the slow climb means it will not burn out too quickly and has a chance at the top 5.
I think this will have a slow but steady climb but hopefully makes it towards #1- because it defanitly deserves to.

That's a good point - some of the slower climbing songs by the Goo Goo Dolls, like "Black Balloon," have become huge hits which stay on rotation for years, while SOME of the faster climbing songs like "Stay With You" and "Let Love In" will probably be obsolete in a few years - I really hope this song picks up - it gets better every time I listen to it

I need to hear this more. My station stopped playing this or I'm just not catching it at the right time. :(
ETA: I spoke too soon. My station just played it, LOL.
