Nelly's (non-existant) numbers aren't really surprising. I mean after the push-back and the downright non-existent U.S. promo it was expected her album would flop. She flopped just as hard as Natasha Bedingfield did with her last album. I wonder if the label will make her rush-release a new album with Dr. Luke and producers that are hot at pop radio right now so they can make back their investment? Then again it dosen't seem like they invested that much money in the album in the first place. Seriously, who? Are we really comparing Nelly to Natasha? It still makes no sense, even if her music sucked balls, even with no promotion, with nothing at all, even if she was releasing through an independent label...It just doesn't make sense that she's sold less than 6k when 6 years ago she had the best selling album of the year. There's gotta be some reasoning behind this. One would have guessed she'd still have some leftover fans from the Loose era, no? I don't think I have ever seen a major mainstream artist sell under 6k. This is all so weird. No one I know knows she put an album out. The two songs I heard are terrible and she waited 6 years. She had a great era but at the end of the day, she got 2 big hits (plus Give It to Me). That's not enough to support a bad album 6 years later. And I don't think Loose was #1 of 2006. Wasn't it HSM? Edit: The new album sold 5,731 and is #79 on the Billboard 200

I was kind of surprised they ended up releasing the album. Is it selling internationally?

WHOA, NELLY!
That number is still shocking for someone of her stature. I was expecting 15-20k.

That's crazy! How can some random Idul alumn like Kat Mcphee sell over 10k with her sophomore album under a small label and Nelly Furtado sell under #6? Woah.

Is that the first Glee album to miss the top ten? Or was there one last season? At any rate it's nice to see that fad winding down. to be fair it was a digital only release
