Well Florida is also doing great with the singles and I congratulate him.. :) But I'm also happy for Pitbull cause his album and singles keep selling well with the moderate airplay it's getting! imagine if he had more ai?? :'( 44 42 PITBULL POLO GROUNDS/RCA 7,322 at 55% GLOBAL WARMING :o Pitbull was snubbed by the grammys, ignored by the billboard, getting less radio airplay than his competition, yet his talent always prevails..P.S In other things, congrats to Bruno and the top 50... ;) I know I am going to regret asking, but how is Pitbull "ignored by the Billboard"?

I'm glad for Bruno's #2 album. It allows RED to surpass Buble's Xmas for number of weeks in the T2.

Since Christmas falls on a Tuesday this year, people will still be buying albums the Monday before, which would fall on next weeks chart I believe. Plus itunes giftcards and whatnot, there should be 2 more weeks of great sales right?

5 albums over 100k. Green Day makes the Top 10! Alicia Keys is holding on. When 3 albums did the trick of 100k in the UK this week too...US sales are so depressive.

Ke$ha's not so bad actually, percentage wise. Her numbers will probably look like crap on a week by week basis but add up to a decent total in the end so I'm just going to stop keeping track of her for the next few months.
A little bummed Bruno didn't get #1 but he opened strong, nonetheless. Also kind of confused though because I just watched his performance on Ellen and when she brought him out to talk to him she said he had "the number 1 album in the country." The Billboard chart isn't officially out yet, but assuming Bruno is #2 on there as well, how would she get #1 out of that? Maybe she just meant #1 debut.
I hope AKeys can get to 400k by the end of the year, so that reaching platinum will not be as much a stretch in 2013.
Man, Phillip Phillips is doing great!

She probably meant #1 on iTunes or something. People are very liberal about calling things #1 if they go #1 ANYWHERE for any amount of time.

Last year he had a great era and won a billboard for 'radio song of the year', but billboard didn't air it on TV. (They didn't want to give him free promo and the general public didn't know about it)Also, billboard gave Shakira the Latin artist of the year and snubbed Pit. . (I like Shakira too, but everybody knows that Pit made it big in 2011, he deserved that award).P.S The sales were good last week..Hopefully Pit ended up with 14,000-17,000k . ;)

Kellys bump isnt that impressive...its holiday season a +12%....should of been much higher...CMB has done nothing for this album. Shame because its amazing! It's hard to tell when a GH is selling because of the demand for a compilation of the artist's greatest hits or because of the new tracks that are receiving attention. Obviously with Pink's it was probably more the latter but with Kelly's, how it does after New Years will be more of a deciding factor in how it does in the long run as opposed to these holiday-fueled bumps just about every album is currently getting. I'd say, in about a year's time, Kelly's GH will tick over 500k. This wouldn't be remarkable but it would definitely be respectable figure in a day and age where new GH are rarely selling beyond 250k or so. "People Like Us" has potential too (probably more so than CMB ever did) and I'm pretty sure that'll be getting a push in January or February.

I'm glad Taylor sold over 200k this week (assuming Soundscan is fairly close to HDD's numbers). Even if this doesn't outsell Speak Now in the long run, it'll come pretty damn close.
Phillip Phillips is doing very well too - Platinum shouldn't be an issue down the road.

It's doing well. It's a greatest hits CD, which typically don't sell well anymore. And "Catch My Breath" isn't exactly smashing... So it's sales are definitely impressive given the circumstances. How much has it sold so far, does anyone know?-- 11 KELLY CLARKSON 19/RCA 75,262 -- GREATEST HITS - CHAPTER 1 11 22 KELLY CLARKSON 19/RCA 25,420 -66% GREATEST HITS - CHAPTER 1 22 37 KELLY CLARKSON 19/RCA 21,034 -17% GREATEST HITS - CHAPTER 1 37 44 KELLY CLARKSON 19/RCA 23,595 +12% GREATEST HITS - CHAPTER 1 That totals 145,311. Not too bad.

Hopefully the Soundscan numbers doesn't exchange the positions.
That's a kinda steap drop, taking into account it's Holiday sales period......even if albums normally drop by that percentage.
She's doing amazing........get it girl!
