YAY TEAM! I'm glad that me actually listing Cynthia/Krhazy as my biggest suspect in an OMGSUS type of way actually threw town off lol.

Reading through the Green Room at the moment, quite a bit of useful advice in there. I think I should take time away from mafia though considering how bored and disinterested I got with this game, so unless any of the next couple of setups seem overly exciting I'll be sitting those out and trying to pick up some skills where I can. Is there enough time so sign up after you know the setup? I'm thinking about signing up for either AZ's or yours, maybe both, but it depends when they tentatively plan to start.

5) Do not quote role PMs or any other form of communication with the Game Moderator unless your role PM explicitly states you can (in which case follow the instructions in your role PM). You may paraphrase your role PM as you see fit, but keep everything in your own words! However, as this is an Open set-up you may freely quote anything in this OP provided it is clearly quoted from the OP.Technically you could have quoted your Role PM from the OP. :kii:

Xiivi would be able to answer this better, but I imagine there will be time for that, and as far as I'm aware Az's game won't be starting for a few weeks and then mine maybe a few weeks after

reading through the rest of the thread now that i see it's over. and crying from page 22 to the end. i seriously cannot believe y'all let the werewolves win. xiivi you never did send me a green room link after i left rocky's comment was really suspect, but if i had been in nightfire's position i would not have shot him simply b/c of the chance of him being town. it seems no one remembered him saying he had no internet (remember, his sister fucked up his computer?); a forced replacement/modkill or him having to make a rushed decision was inevitable if he were town. if you couldn't even remember that then you definitely weren't going to pick up on any of the (painfully, excruciatingly obvious) scumtells that occurred very early in the game. and this is also the point where it was most clear no one was making any attempts at actually connecting players together - scum wasn't going to do that obviously, but the way you guys jumped from countryrocks to sean to rocky to slizzard to codex but with NO consideration as to how they possibly related to drag or anyone else in the game was a sloppy mess. and you can't even blame two of those on scum misleading you. krhazy was the one who pointed out how absurd that was. when scum is telling you what you're doing wrong...smh. i'm confused as to how nightfire lost sight of his initial suspicions. you almost had one! i even said in the chat that you weren't someone i was crazy about having as a gunbearer b/c you're unpredictable and even when you're kind of flailing about, you have good instincts. for some reason you have a terrible time committing to them, though. read the werewolf qt and get a quick chuckle out of me e-slapping my team for jumping on codex in succession and then accusing them of being glue eaters. i was sure we were either fucked or in for the longest game ever once everyone but me was systematically picked off. by the time they all jumped on kurt's bandwagon i didn't even have the energy to yell at them for it. i made one big mistake while i was in the game, and that was when i was posting while half-asleep and i made some comment that alluded to az definitely being town. codex is the only one who caught it but i brushed it off pretty quickly. codex, you picked up on khrazy being scum pretty quickly despite me building a fairly strong case for myself being town. was there any reason for that or were you just going off instinct/blind guessing? YAY TEAM! I'm glad that me actually listing Cynthia/Krhazy as my biggest suspect in an OMGSUS type of way actually threw town off lol. It did? I don't remember that coming up at all, lol lol. i like to think me leaving my vote on drag the entire day one is what really secured that, and the supposed omgus response just solidified what town was already thinking about me. and even that was an accident, really. the problem was that once i (oops) convinced nightfire to change his vote there was no way i could back away from it with good reason. we lucked out with nightfire's indecision, and i had to dig for the unfortunate timing of his vote change.

OK, what the heck was the point of you guys shooting so quickly? And without any discussion whatsoever? Like Xiivi pointed out in the Green Room QT, those three pages of discussion after Nightfire finally decided to start discussing his shoot options were very useful (well, they would've been if you'd used them later instead of continuing to shoot rapid-fire) and could've turned the game around.
I can't believe I ended up naming 3/4 scum when I died as suggestions for potential targets, though...and then none of you even bothered to look much into them. *sigh* lol

Wow, Cynthia really pulled the rest of the Werewolves like a ball and chain around her leg with her input in the QT, huh? "When we lose, not IF, WHEN" oh

You have defenses as to why you did it, for sure. But they are kinda all over the map. Your primary defense seems to be that you did it to help him and to help the rest of us remember the rules. Now you say another reason is for fun. In an earlier post, you even said that for all we know he could be mafia and you would have been doing us a favor. That could imply that your motive was to actually trick him. Also, why did you say you were a Doctor? There's no Doctor's in this game. ??? Codex was a doctor in the last game. A similar bandwagon formed against him on day 1 of the game b/c of a scummish comment he made, and then he got killed on night 1. That's what he was referring to. Nick makes a good point, but the way that bandwagon came together quickly gives me major pause. So I lean a bit more toward one or more of the voters being werewolves than I do Codex being one. also this is jmo but I don't know that I find the 'let me purposely do something underhanded and then reveal my motives' thing to be the best player strategy. If Codex were playing elsewhere would this be accepted town behavior, or would he be lynched on principle? For example, in the last game the thing that brought him under fire was that it seemed as if he was attempting to out a player as a power role. That's something scum would want to do; as a townie that is a terrible enough move that other players might consider it a worthy lynch simply b/c it means they're getting rid of a bad player early in the game. And now you have him testing a player to see if he would break a game rule. Town gains nothing from a fellow townie getting an infraction like that. I am not saying Codex is a terrible player - well, no more terrible than the rest of us for sure, he is one of the better ones IMO - but as far as becoming a better player is concerned he should consider ditching or refining* this strategy. It's going to catch up to him eventually, and it could cost his alignment the game (whether he is town or scum). *Underhanded playing does work when it's done in such a way that it gets scum to reveal themselves, but what Codex did didn't seem designed to do that. If he did end up drawing a werewolf-charged lynchmob toward himself that seems to be an accident. lmao @ you defending me. I was just trolling with the doctor comment, you reminding me that I was a doctor last game gave me a legit excuse for an otherwise random trolling comment. Then you gave me legit advise

Honestly I didn't think much of it because like 4 people made that same mistake, that why would I want to get a fellow townie killed by giving him a warning? No one seemed to realize that it's possible he's mafia... Then again I think everyone who said that was mafia lmao 2. Do you mean this? Due to some events that shall not be named, I now think we should lynch Krhazy. For reasons given by other people up there and before. I was just mad cause he called me a robot. I didn't have any evidence against him since I probably didn't even know at the time that he was your replacement.

Attempting to sabotage a player by making them break the rules? Gwoo ooooooooorl... Vote: Codexwait nvm, see even Kurt for example didn't think about the fact that Az could be a mafia member. Same with Nightfire, they just all assumed that Az is town and that me trying to get him a warning was a mafia move
