^In the SoundScan era," even more precise. But those are just sophomore weeks. For instance, Buble's holiday album dropped 96% once Christmas was over.
Have to wait for final SS numbers for that, though.

Yeah, no. Let's leave the thread titles to the figures - no clearly-baiting percentage drops or comments.

I see he deleted his post. Comparing an artist whos last album opened up with 41K to one that sold 968K in their first weeks respectively. Pathetic.

Probably well below that - it was a non-promoted greatest hits release with no new material.

I think 4th biggest drop of all time would be a better title Well, we need final Soundscan #'s, she could be 3, 4 or 5.

Didn't Billboard say she fell to 48k? So it's even bigger than the Hits drop (still 4th though)

Didn't Billboard say she fell to 48k? So it's even bigger than the Hits drop (still 4th though) Billboard. At number 7 this week, is last week's number 1, Artpop by Lady Gaga. The album moved 48,000 according to Nielsen Soundscan (down 81%) units this week. This drop is slightly lower than Born This Way (down 84% in 2011) which sold 1.1 million copies in its first week thanks to the vocalist's 99 cent deal on Amazon.

We all know the Billboard 200 article is out every Wednesday morning!! This is a FAKE.

^Oh, did they? I missed that, but that's odd. SPRΞΞ: No way would Billboard write something like "thanks to the vocalist's 99 cent deal on Amazon" without qualifying the Amazon-specific sales number or something to that effect. A prime example of why not to trust ATRL. lol

People should know better to post unconfirmed sales numbers here. Don't believe it until you see a link to an article.
This is the 2nd time it has happened. Someone posts fake info and then we have to read about it at all these different message boards.
Someone copied and pasted it to UKMix causing all these "OMG. Worse than HITS!" posts.
This is Pulse, the best website to discuss the charts. Please keep that ATRL junk off this board.

What's with the constant double/triple posting though? Isn't there a rule against that?

13 26 CELINE DION COLUMBIA 13,113 -49% LOVED ME BACK TO LIFE
She's underperforming, compared to the great success in the UK at least.
