Confirmed to perform in BBMA! Wondering if he's going to perform TOL or promoting the new US single.

I only heard some of Loose Change and the Collaborations one back then, but they sound about the same. I finally saw him live tonight. Incredible. Best part is, I got a ticket for tomorrow too.

I can't even begin to count the number of live shows I have seen but I feel like his show on Thurs was EASILY top 10, if not Top 5. Armed with just a guitar and his trusty loop pedal, homeboy put me THROUGH it. He legit brought tears to my eyes several times. Besides having to go to Queens and wait in a long-ass line to get in, my only complaint was not hearing a few of my faves (One, Kiss Me, Wake Me Up). I actually thought he was gonna skip Sing but it was the final encore. He also did a new song. He is genius.

Ed's featured on the song "Dreams" from Krept & Konan's new album. Does a stunning job on the hook!

JULY 27, 2015 9:00am PT by Lacey Rose Ed Sheeran to Recur on Kurt Sutter's 'The Bastard Executioner' (Exclusive) Chart-topping singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is heading to the small screen. The six-time Grammy nominee has snagged a recurring role on Kurt Sutterβs forthcoming FX drama, The Bastard Executioner. The series, which is being billed as a blood-soaked medieval epic that tells the story of a 14th century warrior whose life is forever changed when a divine messenger beseeches him to lay down his sword and lead the life of a journeyman executioner, is currently filming in Sheeranβs native U.K. He's set to play Sir Cormac, an ambitious and deadly protΓ©gΓ© of a high-ranking church elder. This marks a reunion for Sheeran, who declared himself a Sons of Anarchy fan during the biker drama's final season, and Sutter, the series' creator. The tweets led to a collaboration, with Sheeran recording a version of his bluesy cover of Foy Vanceβs "Make It Rain" for the penultimate episode. More recently, Sheeran popped up in another Hollywood production, a live, springtime episode of NBCβs Undateable, and plans to air his special, Ed Sheeran: Live at Wembley Stadium, on the same network later this summer. On Bastard, Sheeran joins a cast thatβs fronted by True Bloodβs Stephen Moyer, Sonsβ Katey Sagal and stateside newcomers Lee Jones and Flora Spencer-Longhurst. Sutter, too, will appear in the hotly anticipated period drama, as he once did on Sons and, prior to that, The Shield. The latest FX Productions/Fox 21 TV Studios entry, which counts Brian Grazer and director Paris Barclay among its executive producers, is set to launch this fall. News of Sheeran's addition comes at a particularly busy time in the 24-year-old chart topper's career. His second full-length album, Grammy-nominated x, shot to No. 1 in 14 countries, and has since seen its worldwide sales exceed 9 million. It achieved platinum status in 18 countries, including the U.S. and the U.K., where it became 2014βs top seller. As Spotifyβs most streamed artist in the world in 2014, Sheeran has been selling out shows around the world, including multiple nights at New Yorkβs Madison Square Garden, along with Londonβs Wembley Stadium and the O2 Arena. He was crowned the Songwriter of the Year at the 2015 Ivor Novello Awards, and became a 5x finalist at this yearβs Billboard Music Awards. www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/ed-sheeran-joins-bastard-executioner-811150?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_term=hollywoodreporter_breakingnews&utm_campaign=THR+Breaking+News_2015-07-27+09%3A00%3A00_MJang

With the 9/26 Billboard 200, Ed is up to ~983,000 sold in 2015.
With HITS estimating 9-12k this week, he should hit 1 million scanned in the next 2 weeks!
Ed will be the 3rd million seller in 2015.

Wembley Edition includes All Of The Stars (originally on The Fault In Our Stars soundtrack), 4 new tracks, 2 live tracks and his collaboration with Rudimental.
Ed Sheeran's blockbuster album x (pronounced multiply, remember?) is getting even bigger -- the British singer-songwriter revealed a two-disc edition of his second album is coming on Nov. 13. Yes, that means Ed's deluxe edition is joining an already crowded release day that will feature the much-talked-about showdown between new Justin Bieber and One Direction albums.
Sheeran's expanded x will feature three previously unreleased songs as well as his Rudimental collaboration "Lay It On Me," which he performed memorably on the MTV EMAs yesterday (Oct. 25) whilst co-hosting the show.
The deluxe edition will also feature a DVD sporting a feature-length Sheeran concert entitled Ed Sheeran: Jumpers for Goalposts. x - Wembley Edition is available for pre-order now, and you can check out the tracklist below.
Sheeran's sophomore set x reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, produced four top 20 Hot 100 hits and has gone platinum.

Is "Tenerife Sea" a single yet? Because I fall in love with that song more and more every time I hear it.

The re-release seems strange to me. I'm conflicted on whether I want it since I already own the deluxe edition of X that already has 17 tracks. Though this one has the 3 new songs plus the new single with Rudimental. Too bad they didn't include the remix of Bloodstream and other remixes, like Photograph and Don't.

From the whole project "Afire Love" still resonates with me the most. Such a beautiful song if you know a loved one dealing with Alzheimer disease. He should get those AARP coins with an endorsement.

It is strange they are re-releasing the album but not releasing any singles from the project. Has an artist ever re-released a "Current" album and not put one of the new songs out as a single? I know that Ed is the vocalist on the Rudimental song, but it isn't his and was previously released on their album.

I bought the original deluxe and the vinyl, so unless these songs are available separately, I'll likely pass. Either way, I am so thrilled and satisfied with this project and how it turned out. Aside from The Man and Take It Back, which just aren't really to my tastes, it's an extremely strong album and one that holds up on listen after listen. I remembered I posted something in the original thread that Kurt did before this one and I went to dig it out. I think he has so much potential as a songwriter and artist, I just wish that his lyrics weren't so painfully pedestrian sometimes. Hopefully getting older does him well. I'd also like to see him channel the acoustic hip-hop sound he can do, rather than the guitar ballads. Not that the ballads are bad, but when they're played one after the other, it winds up less than the sum of its parts imo. The Grammy shade and TOL getting blocked from #1 on the Hot 100 aside, 22 months later I couldn't have asked for anything better. He truly broke through into a major name with this. Snatch Hobbit!

x achieved another chart milestone recently in the UK. It now holds the record for the most weeks in the top 10 for a British album since its debut, having spent all of its 73 weeks in that region. The previous record holder, Adele's 21, spent its first 71 weeks in the top 10.

I love the re-release. The songs are great! I also really enjoyed watching the DVD! I used a program to extract HQ audio, so now I have an entire live album from him with new material and the Elton John duets on "Afire Love" and "Don't Go..."
----
Ed Sheeranβs album X has overtaken Adeleβs 21 to become the longest-charting UK top 10 album ever released by a British artist. X (pronounced βmultiplyβ) was the fastest-selling album of 2014, and has now remained in the top 10 for 73 consecutive weeks, breaking Adeleβs 71-week record. Sheeranβs album has sold over 10 million copies worldwide, and received 59 platinum certifications.

I can't at Touch And Go having the same vocal intro as Runaway. It's similar enough that it could be a direct homage to Runaway but it's far away enough that they didn't notice but either way, it feels lazy to have it on the same album. Both are good though. And I just noticed that CD version doesn't have Make It Rain. boo

The new tracks are a good addition for me because they bring some tempo that the original album didn't have for its length. That alone makes me take Touch and Go.
