Besides the obvious, the only complete thumbs-down for me is "I'm Already There". I forgot how much more theatrical and bombastic the radio edit is. It's even more hideously over the top than most of Rascal Flatts' screech-fests.
I also can't believe how many songs there were that I didn't recognize immediately, starting with "Fearless".

Great batch of songs, Zack. The TT and Will Hoge songs were new to me (two artists I desperately need to get into, I only know TT's newest album, and nothing by Hoge), as well as the Dori Freeman song (had a feeling you might play something by her, lol). All three were great. "Something More Than Free" is amazing of course, and the Bentley and Paisley cuts are two of my faves of theirs.

I'm certainly not discriminant though. There's a lot of areas of country music and it's just honestly not an era I'm familiar with. I will certainly play more pre 1990's though! :) There's only some artists/songs I refuse to play. Everything else is fair game.

I heard "Why" by Rascal Flatts on Y2Kountry this morning when I left my house.
I don't think I've heard that song on any radio station since 2009. It's unreal how hauntingly good it is.

MusicChoice is currently playing "Albuquerque" by Sons of the Desert. And it sounds a little different than the version I know, so I'm pretty sure it's the version off their unreleased second Epic Records album.
Wow, major props on this one.

Not a full playlist here, but one of the local stations had the most bizarre string of songs last night (from a programming standpoint, that is).
I was in my car and they had George Strait's "Adalida" on, then went straight into Sam Hunt's "Break Up In A Small Town", followed by Jon Pardi's "Head Over Boots".

I took a trip to Cedar Point, Ohio today. I left my house around 6:30 a.m. and reached the park a little after 10:30 a.m. (stopped for some food on the way there, as well as on the way back).
I rode with my friend and since the trip took well over 7 combined hours both ways, I had a ton of time to hear in on some different stations. I had some burned CD's I took with me but we were talking most of the way and to be honest, it is interesting hearing some different radio stations that I don't get a chance to listen to -- I also love hearing what awful radio ads/commercials other cities like to play -- little hobby of mine I guess, lol.
I listened to Sirius/XM's The Highway and Y2Kountry. WYRK (Buffalo, NY), WGAR (Cleveland, OH) and WQMX (Akron, OH). Three new Country stations and one recent classic Country station. I knew I would be hearing a good amount of the same songs on every station, but it was ridiculous how often I heard some of these songs -- easily the worst combined playlist I ever experienced on any road trip in my life. Here's a rough list of all the songs I heard at least twice -- I kept track as best I could once I decided to keep a note of what I heard. I go from most heard, to songs I heard twice. (# of times), I heard the song on any of the stations.
Sam Hunt - "Make You Miss Me" (6) Chris Lane - "Fix" (5) Zac Brown Band - "Castaway" (4) Kelsea Ballerini - "Peter Pan" (4) Jason Aldean - "A Little More Summertime" (4) -- I just happened on this one often I guess Rascal Flatts - "I Like The Sound Of That" (4) Cole Swindell - "You Should Be Here" (4) Old Dominion - "Snapback" (3) Dierks Bentley - "Somewhere On A Beach" (3) LoCash - "I Love This Life" (3) Jake Owen - "American Country Love Song" (3) Billy Currington - "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To" (3) Dierks Bentley f/Elle King - "Different For Girls" (3) Flordia Georgia Line - "H.O.L.Y." (3) Jason Aldean - "Lights Come On" (3) Luke Bryan - "Move" (3) Chris Young w/Cassadee Pope - "Think Of You" (3) Blake Shelton - "She's Got A Way With Words" (3) Jon Pardi - "Head Over Boots" (2) Florida Georgia Line F/Tim McGraw - "May We All" (2) Granger Smith - "If The Boot Fits" (2) Easton Corbin - "Are You With Me" (2) Brett Eldredge - "Wanna Be That Song" (2) Steve Moakler - "Love Drunk" (2) Thompson Square - "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not" (2) -- go away, for the love of God Carrie Underwood - "Dirty Laundry" (2) Carrie Underwood - "Church Bells" (2) Thomas Rhett - "Die A Happy Man" (2) Kenny Chesney f/P!nk - "Setting The World On Fire" Sam Hunt - "Take Your Time" Jason Aldean w/Kelly Clarkson - "Don't You Wanna Stay" (2) Lady Antebellum - "Need You Now" (2) Tim McGraw - "Humble And Kind" (2) Justin Moore - "You Look Like I Need A Drink" (2) Smithfield - "Nothin' But The Night" (2) Tucker Beathard - "Rock On" (2) Chris Janson - "Holdin' Her" Brad Paisley - "Mud On The Tires" (2) Toby Keith - "As Good As I Once Was" (2)
There were more I probably heard more than once, so again its a rough list. I also did not stay on the channel to hear most of these, lol. It makes sense these would get played so often on three of the stations. The Highway is commercial free and WYRK and WGAR are owned by large radio conglomerates (Townsquare, iHeartMedia) but man, if you go more than 2 hours listening to radio (particularly terrestrial), get ready to pull your hair out and turning the dial often. Yikes.
I love a handful of these but for the most part, it's an overplayed, sea of mediocrity.
