The album release date is on the later side of what I was expecting, but overall it does line up well with her festival appearances. I wonder if she'll do promotional shows leading to the release since they've been gone a while.

Giving it the week to sink in, I think WKOM is truly godly. They have gone to the next level with this one. Will be a contender for my song of the year I'm sure. I'm so excited for this era.

'Third Eye', 'St. Jude' & the title track were all performed in full at a gig in London a few days ago.

Live performance of "Third Eye". Beautiful beyond description. "
"What Kind of Man" is great but was a bit of a letdown after the 3 year wait, "Third Eye" however is everything I was hoping from her and more. The lyrics could literally make me weep, she wasn't kidding when she said this would be her most personal album and least vague. Can't wait for the studio version.

According to the tweet above, there will be a new song from Florence + the Machine called "St. Jude", which apparently received a video treatment because it leaked. You can watch it here.

According to HDD, Ceremonials has just squeaked by the 1,000,000 mark in the US.
That album opened with 105k in Q4 2011 (it was helped during its run by the songs being used in various media outlets). I'm curious to see how this will open, especially since this is a longer rollout.

"Ship To Wreck" is the next instant grat track, apparently out next Thursday (or so this claims).

Are they pushing 'What Kind of Man'? I'm not saying it's out of character they have multiple songs being released prior to the album release date b/c I believe this occurred last era. I just want a song to break out for them & be a huge smash. I am not concerned w/the album sales at all looking at their history in that department. Platinum may be a stretch this go 'round, but gold should be a definite.

For now at least, "St Jude" and "Ship To Wreck" are just instant grat tracks to encourage pre-orders (and as part of the video series she's releasing).

I've been MIA lately & has missed out on what's going on. I'm trying to get back onto here regularly again. Lol

Third Eye already sounds like it has the potential to be the more mainstream Dog Days/SIO hit of this era so I wouldn't worry. As stated, they're just releasing insta grat tracks right now. WKOM is the only radio single.

Ship To Wreck has a strangely country vibe. Give it 8/10

The show was amazing. Her vocals were on fleek & her energy was out of this world. She was too aborable during the intermission in between songs & commanding us to jump up & down or to show love to the people next to us. Though the venue was pretty small (smaller than stadium or arena concerts), the atmosphere was moving. She fooled the whole crowd when we thought she was closing the show w/'Dogs Days Are Over.' Lol. I was slightly disappointed that was the ending, until she came back 3mins later doing a few more songs. That & her not performing my favorite song was a sad moment for me :( But I figured she wouldn't perform 'Hurricane Drunk,' due to it being an album track from the first era. Lol Anyway, I tried to keep up w/the set list as best as I could. I accidentally deleted a portion of it during the show, so some of it is based off memory. I'm positive everything is accurate, though. What The Water Gave Me What Kind of Man Spectrum Sweet Nothing How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (this sounds amazing live) All This and Heaven Too Swimming (briefly before transitioning to) Drumming We sung Happy Bday to Mark (the bass guitarist) Ship to Wreck Shake It Out Dog Days Are Over St. Jude (on the verge on being my favorite from this era thus far) Third Eye No Light, No Light

St. Jude is appropriately divine. I'll be honest, it went in one ear and out the other the first time I listened. But repeated listens have made me obsessed. It is so subtly gorgeous and the lyrics really resonate for me.
Ship to Wreck is decent. Definitely my least fav of the 5 we've heard from the album, but maybe it will grow on me like SJ.

Billboard considered F+TM's set at Coachella the best performance of the first weekend and they said the following about it: However, Florence posted the following on her Facebook page today. Hope she gets well soon.

Florence has been officially announced to play Glastonbury! She's the highest billed special guest, so it's safe to assume she'll be playing the Pyramid stage. This has been a life-long goal for her, I can't imagine how excited she is. I remember her seeing her play a club in Toronto over 5 years ago, I've been following her career from that point on, and its been amazing to see her become one of the biggest names on the festival circuit. She's come so far, this is a great time to be a fan!

This woman WOULD try to be a rock star during Coachella and break her leg before Governor's Ball. UGH. Well, at least I will have a special treat: I get to see her do an acoustic set outdoors in the summer. Doesn't get much better than that!

I was so hyped in my living room from just watching her.

I always forget she is under 30. She could pass for mid 40s.

So she is doing a non-festival NYC show...tomorrow! That's some MO levels of sneakiness. Ticketmaster is a flop for not telling me ASAP.
