Appears to be the third official single from Supermodel. The band uploaded an audio stream for this song with the single artwork, so I'm assuming they're starting to push this. Sounds something like radio might play, but it's got some pretty quirky parts, especially Mark's nasally voice and "ahhs." Top 30 at best I'm thinking.

Absolutely no surprise to me. I don't see it doing anything since the first two singles were dropped so quickly. Would have been my choice though and I enjoy the song.

Not a bad choice (I'm currently focused on "Ask Yourself," but didn't really see that becoming a single), though I don't have high hopes for it considering how the rest of the era has gone. Oh well.

This is kind of dull for them. I wouldn't be surprised if it misses the Top 20. I expected "Best Friend" to at least scrape the bottom of the Top 10.

I was expecting them to release "Pseudologia Fantastica" instead since it has a music video, but it's good to see they are pulling a new single if it's considered how "Coming of Age" and "Best Friend" performed. Being said that, I don't have my hopes very high on "Are You What You Want to Be?" though.

This was the most immediate song when I first listened to the album. So I guess I like the decision, but honestly all my interest in Foster the People is gone.

No lol, I just never understood why everyone thought it was the best song off "Torches" lol, even with the A- rating I gave it, it's one of the bottom 3 songs in terms of quality on the album IMO (just goes to show how epic the album is, lol) |
