Sangria was not a bad song, but Buzzin', oh my god. I hope that's the only song like it on the album, I haven't heard the whole thing so maybe someone can tell me? With what I can remember, yes, that's the only one like it on the album. It's funny though how Raelynn's part on that song is so similar with her part on Boys Round Here. On first listen, I love this album more than his previous one. Early favorites for me are Lonely Tonight, A Girl, Just South of Heaven and Good Country Song. And I'm still a huge fan of Neon Light.

^Thank you for relieving some of the worry about the album. His last one was so mediocre I really was hoping for better music.

#5 last week, passing Dustin Lynch, Florida Georgia Line, and Jason Aldean.

Blake Shelton is lucky he's on The Voice and gets to perform every single he releases that doesn't look like it'll become a big seller live to give it a nice boost on iTunes. "Neon Light" has currently sold about 307,000 units on iTunes and might not even reach the Gold sales threshold for another month or so. I haven't heard Blake's album but if my understanding is correct this is a very traditional album (if anyone wants to verify or dispel this impression I'd be grateful). If Blake's whole album is traditional music like "Neon Light" then I think sales will only get worse with each subsequent single and I don't see Blake keeping his #1 streak intact through this album era.

Part of the problem is that this song has flown into the top 3 in just 10 weeks. Today's environment is a singles-based one, and a quick shelf life at radio doesn't allow the single to sell as much compared to songs that take 25+ weeks to peak.

Oh, this song will most-definitely hit Gold. Radio obviously disagrees with you about his star power. "Lonely Tonight" will also be a massive seller when it hits the market soon. The album isn't "Traditional" but it's definitely not "rock" either.
