The real question is whether SIO or BS or both is/are bigger than Trouble though. I'd say so. Hot 100 peak aside, I don't think "I Knew You Were Trouble."'s sales were as consistently good as "Shake It Off"'s and "Blank Space"'s. It had a few huge weeks, but I remember it being around #3-5 on iTunes for most of its single run. My memory could be failing me though. Plus, it didn't have nearly as much cultural impact as the 1989 singles. I remember for about a week or two there was some discussion going around about Taylor Swift releasing a dubstep song, but that's pretty much it. I disagree. I think Trouble had a much bigger impact than Blank Space, but that's also because Trouble's hook is stronger. It might not have been as consistent on iTunes but it was a phenomenon, especially after the goat video went viral.

Trouble is already dated imo and behind Love Story and You Belong With Me in terms of impact. I'd say the 1989 singles may end up being her signature songs particularly Blank Space.

^^ agreed. SIO/Blank Space are the first Taylor Swift songs ever that I have noticed people really getting into and noticing in this country (UK).
IKYWT was commercially successful, but these latest songs are having more impact.

"I Knew You Were Trouble" may have the dubstep sound from 2011/2012 but it is still a jam. Taylor still performs it and the crowd loves it. "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" were both massive hits from "Red". "Shake It Off" is just the first song from Taylor that people were making dance videos to it on youtube, vine etc. "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me" from Taylor will never be forgotten in Taylor's list of hit songs.

There's no denying that "WANEGBT" and "IKYWT" were giant hits, but "SIO" and "BS" seem to have even more impact. Taylor just seems more red hot than she's ever been, which is no small feat considering that each album before was massively successful.

In fact the song that globally took her to another places was We are never ever getting back together. I most places country is not a type of music heard on the radio (with very few exceptions, here in spain in the last decade i only remember being played on radio Need you now and Not ready to make nice). At least in the south of europe We are never ever getting back together was the first single being played on radio or at least the first to have success, and it opened the gates of the new pop sound.
In my opinion if that song wasn't a big success maybe 1989 wouldn't exist.
Anyway it's too soon to know which are going to be her signature songs, sometimes there are songs that flopped hard that end being one of the signature songs of an artist (english man in new york for Sting), or not being as successful as other songs of the artist but being the ones that people prefer (Everybody hurts by REM which with Losing my religion are their most known songs).
And there are other people who have a ton of non memorable hits

Anyone know why I Prevail's month old punk cover of BS is storming up iTunes today? It's #40. The video was released a month ago.

So It's pretty obvious to me BS will DEFINITELY be #1 again on BBH100 this week. BS has more streams on VEVO than AATB and UF does on BOTH Spotify and VEVO combined! Take me to church...well lets face it, it probably won't get the #1 spot. Unless I am missing something...
Here are the numbers btw: BS- 11,102,737 (Just VEVO) AATB- 8,532,560 (Combining VEVO and Spotify) UF- 8,147,961 (Combining VEVO and Spotify)
BS is doing much better on radio as well than UF so therefore BS should definitely keep that #1 spot this week! #SlaylorSwift ladies and gentlemen!

Blank space is unique in that I haven't met anybody who doesn't like the song.
When was the last time a song was this universally loved? Dark Horse? Get Lucky?

I'm really hoping this could get 10 weeks at number one on the Hot100, and then Style replaces it at #1... #SlayTay

Oh well...This is #2 on Hot 100! I didn't expect this song to last that long @ #1 on the chart. For what it's worth, I'm very happy with how this song turned out to be...The biggest hit of her career so far! Well I'm going to listen to "Enchanted" from her speak now album, If ya'll need me just PM me.
