I feel like this album release isn't getting much attention.

They're not doing another single before the release? Younger Now isn't/won't do much.
While Malibu was instant love, Younger Now and Inspired have grown on me. I feel this is going to be my fall album/Miley's best/ I need this record today.

I would love to see her have like a small EP of her re-singing some of her oldest notable songs in the way she performed SYA for BBC.

Re-fell in love with the title track off the EP IMO, that whole EP was some of her best early fun pop work

Just did a listen of the Week Without You clip. Terrible. So far, it looks like I will just add Malibu to my Apple Music streaming library. Not even interested in paying for her album in the least and depending on what else is on it, I won't be streaming either.

Younger Now Malibu I Would Die for You Thinkin' Love Someone
As a casual Miley fan, the album is pleasant enough but nothing outstanding. If it had been as spirited as the title track (my fave Miley single ever at this point), I'd like it more.

This album gets a shrug and a MEH from me. It's not bad per se, it's just so f**king FLAT. After watching her recent performances and especially her iHeart set (I can't believe I'm going to say this), but Miley is way better as a live act now. Take "Week Without You" for instance, on record, it's a lifeless snooze. Live, it's a bop. I can't listen to the album version of "Younger Now" after hearing her live performances, why the hell didn't she put that fire into it in the studio?
I can't help but compare this to the recent reinventions that other female pop stars have gone through, namely Gags and Kesha. This is inferior to both of them. Which is funny to me, because Miley really is the one that should have succeeded here.

I disagree, I think Miley does this country/pop more justice than recent attempts.
I think the subtlety of the delivery is what I appreciate the most, cause it adds a different kind of vibey, chill mood to this type of music that makes it more accessible.
To top it off, her voice throughout hits a lot of sweet spots for me.

The album has some high points and decent moments, but overall, it's her weakest album. It's such a shame because Malibu had me so hyped for this, but the album did not even come close to reaching Miley's full potential.

I lost interest almost immediately after the two singles and then "Love Somebody" jolted me back to paying attention. That track is good, and the final two tracks are really nice, too. I agree that this is the same lane as Gaga/Kesha, but I'd say this is above Joanne but not as strong as Rainbow. Kinda bummed because I really like "Malibu" and "Younger Now," but I guess liking 4-5 tracks here would still make this my favorite Miley album.

The album that never ends... I mean 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY' out now!

The album is very cohesive. How we went from 'Bangerz' (and 'Dead Petz') to this is astonishing.

#2 on iTunes. 50k SPS seems reasonable; I'll be shocked if she cracks six figures.

^^^I agree, but that's such a poor showing considering Bangerz's 270k opening :|

Album's a bit dull but I appreciate her vision. Must listen to it more. I would've placed Malibu and Younger Now separate on the album as they still are the true standouts.
Pitchfork gave 4.7, disappointing.

She tries a new style with this country pop and pulls it off well in my opinion. Yet, I don't see myself coming back to this often Faves: Younger Now, Malibu, Thinkin'
