I wonder how an album would have done if released right now? 60k - 80k probably, maybe less considering how awful the single performed. Jennifer Lopez's AKA opened with about half that, but Britney has a stronger fan base, so the lower end of that range sound reasonable. That wouldn't look too bad honestly if not for the fact it would be front loaded. Damn I need to start paying attention to your timeline with that shade throwing!

Comparisons are always in poor taste. My bad.
The title only came to mind because it came out this time last year and they're at some-what similar points in their career.

This song never had a chance from the start. It's a badly produced POS and the callout scores are no surprise to me.

Really want Tom's Diner to be the next single.. it might not be a smash, but people prefer it to this. Although I love PG, can we just forget it happened?

I'll always be a huge Britney fan, but this was one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life. It could be discounted to .01 on iTunes and I still wouldn't touch it to help her. Hopefully this shows her team to stop buying other artists shitty leftovers and actually fork over some money for a hit.

What DOES Infinity and Pretty Girls have anything to do with each other? Other than the fact they are both made by legends and icons who combined have more hits, material, TALENT and industry goodwill to buy out........ I think its better to make your mediocre material at the tail end of your career than having hits that are mediocre from the jump. I'm sure regardless of their flops nobody will be throwing them out like yesterdays disposal items. They will be fine! Infinity does have one great LINE " Close the door, lose the key" in case you need a reminder and refresher the reciepts (have more you can politely pm me for them) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_1_to_Infinityhave a nice day!

This is catchy but i feel like it's too basic for the GP. Plus Iggy is very hated Sorry but i don't understand this. I know Iggy had a good bunch of controversies (like every other rapper) but she came from a pair a big hits, and they obviously chose her because she is a hot artist right now

I definitely think Infinity is better than Pretty Girls. However, I do wish some rebel hacker in Isreal had done us a favor and leaked this months prior to its release so Britney's team could see how the public would react to the song. Nevertheless, I'm excited to see what Britney releases next. I am definately ready for a Britney JAM.

More like hot mess right now. Sorry, but being a hot mess never was a problem to have hits, Bieber is way more hated than Iggy and he has a hit right now. People are behaving like Britney's last singles didn't flopped, and hey, they did. What she needs is not a rapper in her songs, she needs good songs. When she released good and catchy songs she generally has hits, when she released subpar songs she flops, it's as simple as that. The song is like a second rate Fancy, and frankly, Fancy wasn't very good in first place

I thought this would do a lot better. Glad Ooh La La out peaked this tho. Please tell me that Tom's Diner song a few pages back was just a demo. It's even more obnoxiously auto tuned than a Paris song.

It's even more obnoxiously auto tuned than a Paris song. It's the final mix, Giorgio said her vocals aren't manipulated (the lead vocal track) - but there are a lot of effects in the production. Album's out June 12th. music.yahoo.com/video/giorgio-moroder-talks-britney-spears-215816674.html

I rarely comment on here, but I wanted to say this. I love the song. It's something that shouldn't be taken to seriously, and it's a fun summer JAM. I think it's a shame America didn't catch onto this. However I think her label should use this as a promo single to get her name back out there. They should hold off for a bit on the album, and release something a little more worthy of a Britney lead single.

Man, I actually liked this one. Too bad American society is too snobby to have a song like this be a hit. Damn.

I am not sure the problem is America being too snobby especially considering some of the songs we have sent top 10 in the past few years.

There should have been more promotion(Performances, etc). I think they were expecting a Top 10 debut + more out of the gate. Nowadays, it just doesn't work like that, unless you put in some work.

Plus, we send songs like this to the top alllllll the time. Difference is, I would argue, this one is less catchy/less immediate and had less promo because it isn't like Britney is going to actually do more than one performance for a single.
