Right now it's looking like Reba will once again be on the outside of the MB top 30 this week as Big & Rich's "Run Away With You" has surged ahead to #31 on the rolling chart. There will only be one recurrent on MB tomorrow ("Sippin' On Fire"), and Big & Rich have gained 224 spins and over 1.0 million in audience, while Reba has gained 104 spins and 550k in audience. Dan + Shay are right behind Reba, but "Nothin' Like You" has had a rough week (just 60 spins and less than 200k in audience gained).
It's pretty hilarious looking at the total audience numbers for "Going Out Like That" (15.700) vs. "Run Away With You" (9.030). But the main reason for that is "Going Out Like That" is getting a ton of airplay from Westwood One, while "Run Away With You" isn't. Reba's song is also getting over 2.0 million of its audience from WNSH in New York (#1 market) and KPLX in Dallas (#5 market) -- 118 combined spins.
"Going Out Like That" is 25 weeks old and it's gains just don't convince me that a top 20 peak is likely, and being potentially being knocked out of the MB top 30 for two consecutive weeks isn't helping.

Any chance this could outpace Blake this week to become the third consecutive female #1 song?

Any chance this could outpace Blake this week to become the third consecutive female #1 song? LOL! Extra LOL for me especially because I was going down the chart thinking "And the next female #1 will be..... *looks further down*........ um, Carrie's lead single for album 5." Seriously though, this sausagefest has been going on a long time but for me, saladgate was good because it forced me to actually seek out female songs actively. Hello, Spotify and its playlist of female country artists current music, including Reba's. LOTS of good stuff out there. I'm pretty happy and certainly much better off than when I was just griping about the lack of female voices.

5 more adds this week. Hopefully that will be enough to keep this going a little longer. At this rate, she'll be on track to knock Carrie's lead single off of #1

This has now gone recurrent on the mongrel and indicator charts, but continues to (slowly) gain on the published airplay charts, thanks in part I'm sure yot he new adds that she's been pulling in.
It'll be interesting to see if this can keep going and eventually re-enter, or if it'll go recurrent soon. I suspect that will depend upon whether or not he can pull in more adds in the weeks to come.

Oh my gosh listening to CountryCountdown USA and this song plays. Looks like Reba isn't gonna be going out this week. Having said that Reba does need to enter the MB Top 30 again tomorrow otherwise she could be leaving soon. Reba lucked this week Nash Icon basically gave this CC USA spins this week. I maintain my belief the best this can do is Top 25 there is just too many songs going Top 20 before Reba. Let's see the 9 ahead obviously FGL should catch, Brothers Osborne same thing. Kenny is blasting thru with his new one. I also think Miranda could as well. Hence why I say hold on for like ooh I would say a month get in the Top 25 and then move on.

Let me start with the good news. "Going Out Like That" re-entered the MB top 30 this week, at #30. Reba managed to gain 53 spins and just over 300k in audience.
Now the less than stellar news. I think "Going Out Like That" is near the end of the line anyway. 15 of the 16 Cumulus station decreased this song's spins this week, and the one station that didn't (KIZN in Boise) only saw a 1 spin increase. The average spin loss was about 8 spins per station, with quite a few seeing a decrease of 9 spins or greater. This song was released in January and I'm thinking that Nash Icon (Cumulus) see's that this song won't be doing much more anyway and are about to pull the plug shortly - especially if they have already tested tracks for the follow-up single. In order for Reba to crack the top 20 she would need to increase about 1000 spins and about 10.0 million in audience, and I just cannot see that happening. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a top 30 MB peak is what we see here.

I heard this on a local country station, and when it ended, it had a recorded message from Reba saying it was courtesy of Nash Icon, etc. Has it had that since the release?

Yeah, I just wasn't sure if the message followed every single play. I had heard it before, but that was closer to its initial release.

Oh well idk if it follows every time, lol, but I've definitely heard it before several times. Sometimes I've heard it played to introduce the song rather than end it, as well.

How much longer do you think it will be before Nash Icon finally moves on to another single?! I would love to see GOLT go as high on the charts as possible but it just seems to get just enough plays to keep it on the charts w/o really going anywhere! I know Nash Icon is kind of experimenting w/this single. What could be their reason for keeping the single alive w/o it really moving much? Hasn't it moved up 5 positions in like 3 mths? Do you think they'll keep going w/this as long as its getting adds? Is that maybe the goal, to see how many stations they can get to play it? Were the 3 stations that added GOLT this week, small markets? Do you think the stations will be as reluctant to play the next single as they have GOLT? I'm wandering if the stations that finally started playing GOLT will be more open to playing the next single since they see that people are still wanting to hear Reba on the radio! Sorry for all the questions in one post........

I think Nash Icon is trying to prove a point with this single. The point being that Reba's not going out like this and they're gonna continue to support this single until they can't anymore. But as for the label I think they are trying to prove a point that the music this label is releasing needs to be taken seriously and that its not just music for the cumulus stations.

Two of the three stations that added "Going Out Like That" this week were KKWF in Seattle (Entercom) and KWJJ in Portland, Oregon (Entercom). Both are in the top 25 markets. The third was the 126th ranked market in Jackson, Mississippi, with is independently owned.
Unfortunately my statement four days ago about the Cumulus stations lowering Reba's spins hasn't changed, as every Cumulus leader has decreased "Going Out Like That's" spins over the past seven days. The recent adds certainly have helped and have contributed Reba's song staying alive, but she's only gained 57 spins and has lost 180k in audience since Sunday. The fact this song has been in such high rotation on the Cumulus stations for months on end is starting to takes it's toll.
I still expect "Going Out Like That" to go no higher than the top 25.

I don't think Reba can hold on for long. Even if both Easton and Tim go recurrent on BB she still has FGL and Kenny and Cam blasting up the charts. Also Brothers Osborne and Big & Rich could pass her too. Forget about Top 20. Reba will be lucky if she gets Top 25. The songs on life support and honestly I wouldn't mind too see it go.

"Goin' Out Like That" moves 30-28* on Billboard's 7/18 country airplay chart, with 8.947 million audience (+0.41m) and 1,898 spins (No. 28 in spins among the top 60).

After seeing another not so good update today, I'm fairly confident "Going Out Like That" won't be doing much more than what it already has done. Reba lost 44 spins and 70k in audience, bringing Reba's losses to 250k for the week and having gained just 13 spins since last Sunday. Every Cumulus station has now decreased "Going Out Like That" in their rotation as you can see from the leaders on All Access ( here). If it wasn't for the aid of Westwood One, this song would be doing even worse on MB by now. The 2-3-4 adds every week help, but most of those stations are only contributing lower rotation spins for "Going Out Like That" and not nearly enough audience impressions to help Reba's song in the long run. If it does end here, the chart run for the most part, is what I think (and said when it was released) was to be expected, though this song lasting this long after being in such high rotation for months on end on the Cumulus stations is something I certainly did not forecast.

Considering where the song/album comes from and the fact that Cumulus needs a new single from Reba soon, this one did about as well as could be expected.

This is barely hanging on by a thread but if it can hold out one more day, shouldn't GOLT hit a new peak at #27 since there will be 3 songs go recurrent? Hopefully that will result in more new stations adding it this week. I'm kinda ready for a new single too but as long as GOLT is getting adds & moving up, I hope Nash Icon sticks with it. Hopefully it will be beneficial to the next single & there's not so much reluctance to play it. There are so many good songs on Love Somebody. I hope all the singles don't take 6 or 7 mths to reach their peak! Otherwise we might not get many released.

^Not quiet only Kelsea is going recurrent on MB tomorrow. In order for Reba to get that peak she would need to hold on for another month I'd imagine. It is best for the label to move on.

It looks like "Going Out Like That" is once again knocked out of the MB top 30 this week as both FGL and Parmalee passed Reba by Sunday morning. Tim's song already fell below all three songs but Carrie is still on the rolling chart and "Little Toy Guns" is set to be the only song in the MB top 30 to be sent recurrent later this afternoon.
Even with the reflection of the panel change yesterday, "Going Out Like That" has been bleeding way more audience than any song surrounding as Reba officially lost over 1.0 million in total audience this week.

[/quote This is sad as while I haven't liked her recent efforts as munch, oh a e always been a fan and feel the age bug might be hitting her which stinks since she still has potential to release some good material but radio just don't want to play older artists.

I think you forgot that Tim McGraw/Catherine Dunn with "Diamond Rings And Old Barstools" will go recurrent as well even though as you said it's officially out of the top 30 now though. So yes 2 recurrents this weekend with both Carrie and Tim set to go bye bye on Mediabase. Next weekend, we will say goodbye to Easton Corbin- "Baby Be My Love Song" and Blake Shelton's "Sangria" as they say hello to recurrentland on Mediabase.

Yeah I'm about 90% sure Reba is done. There's really no reason to promote this. Reba has lost way too much audience for me to be convinced she'll stay on BB. I do wanna see the song go cause all it's doing now is occupying chart space I mean come on how long has this been in the 28-33 range on BB or MB it's ridiculous. I do want to see how the next song does as her album is so lovely.

"Going Out Like That" looks about finished as Reba lost nearly 70 more spins and 277k in audience today. Reba's lost over 100 spins and nearly 1.5 million in audience on MB over the past eight days and while there was the effect of a panel change on Saturday's update, that's a ton of audience to lose while other songs around Reba haven't lost anywhere close to those numbers.

I'm hoping for a new single announcement this week! What in the world are they waiting on?! Maybe it was prolonged because it kept getting adds. I am torn between hoping the new single is "Just like them Horses" or "Til They Don't Love You". I'm kind of hoping for "JLTH" because I feel like it could be a song that could garner Reba awards or at least nominations. "TTDLY" might be her best chance at another hit but people may have such a strong connection with "Horses" that it could blow up. There are so many good songs on the album though. I really hope we get several releases from it!!

Hoping for a new single very soon. On Facebook Reba mentioned she was in Pittsburgh yesterday. I died a little because I am from Pittsburgh, and didn't see her. Anyone know why she was in Pittsburgh? Is she just travelling?
