He also wrote "Drivin' All Night" (Jake Owen) and "Run Away With You" (Big & Rich) which are on the album. I have the album and looked inside the booklet, no Michael did not write "Drivin' All Night", that was written by Monty Criswell and Casey Beathard. The only song Michael wrote on this album is his own version of the current Big & Rich hit for "Run Away With You", which I think is a darn good version of a song he wrote with John Rich.

Whoops, I assumed he had since Owen had wrote it and he included it on this album. Nonetheless, his version is very good. I think I like it a little better than Owen's

Now that this has hit #1, what's the next single? My favorite song is "Wish I Was Here". Also enjoyed "Another Girl", "Run Away With You", "Everything in Between" and many more.
There were so many good country-sounding songs on the album that I ended up downloading the entire album on iTunes! Good week of album releases this week between Luke and Michael.

I've heard this song twice, which is sad in how much I'm really starting to care about country music. It was unremarkable to me when I heard it, but if others love it then I can appreciate that.

I don't think that spins record means anything to anyone besides his label execs given the size of the Mediabase panel and the higher spins for tunes in power rotation as opposed to recent years.

I realize this song has already peaked but I just recently joined this forum and thought I would comment on it. I had read this thread previously and wondered about why all the negativity. Because I have typically not turned the station when it came on (I guess my way of passive endorsement). Anyway it came on today on my way home from work and I listened to it a little more critically. I think the entire song has a range of five notes. FIVE! And one of those isn't really used, so FOUR! The "melody" is exactly the same between the verses and chorus. Still I guess it works. The guitar riff is pretty catchy and he sings those four notes fairly well. But definitely not a strong melodic song.
