Where is "A Girl In A Country Song" by Maddie & Tae or "Love Me Like You Mean It" By Kelsea Ballerini 100% agree. Either of those two songs or something by Carrie would have been acceptable. Both Maddie and Tae and Kelsea have sold well too and songs that peaked below them are on the chart, so I am confused on their exclusion. #1 selling country CD at 19,000 (NOW That's What I Call Country, Volume 8).

She even gives Terri Clark a run for her money on Happy Yet.

It would be at least 701 if there were a physical cd available.

And yet she is still ignored by radio. The fact alone that she went #1 all genre without them proves what a joke and how insignificant radio has become, especially for female artists. And with a non-radio female doing this, it also proves every point Keith Hill made as wrong in blaming fans for not wanting to hear women.

Some info about Keith Urban's upcoming album: Source Rolling Stone, however, states there's no confirmation that the 2 songs will appear on Keith's album, and they also said that there's no confirmation that Rodgers will produce the album. SourceThe first source sure makes it seem like Rodgers will produce the album. The quotes from Rodgers are from his interview with Yahoo. ** All I have to say about this is...

Well from the sounds of that + already disliking the production of the lead single, things aren't sounding too good for Keith Urban's next set. Shame since I really liked Fuse, especially the singles. Granted it wasn't his best album and the musical approach he took with it for the most part wasn't a path I wanted him to continue to venture down even further.

I'm a little skeptical on Keith Urban's new direction. I'm not sure if I'll like this.

^I'm not shocked by the Keith news, I'll of course reserve judgment until I hear the album but I don't have high hopes, especially after "John..."

Oh, if anything, those two songs will be just two of the tracks on the album. Keith's gonna have multiple producers on this project, just like he did with FUSE. I mean Dann Huff produced "John Cougar...".

Trick Pony (now a reunited duo with Keith Burns and Heidi Newfield) has just finished recording a new album and it should be out by the fall. According to their iTunes single ("It's A God Thing") which was was released last month, they're on Permian Records. Hopefully they are planning on a radio promotional team (even for secondary airplay) for their new music. The Cover Art for their website:

I've liked pretty much all Keith Urban albums. I hope this new album doesn't change my mind. I like EDM also, but I'm just hoping that Rodgers knows what he is doing with Keith.

Brett Eldredge: "Illinois" (09/11/15) There's already an audio for Track #1: "Fire" despite not being a pre-order track on iTunes (yet) [!?]

This is FIRE!(pun intended) :kii:

Have really grown to appreciate his voice and singing tone. :)

'Fire' is a legitimate track from the new album. Text BRETTATT to 50505 to get a download of it. It's a promotion Brett has with AT&T.

What would you call this? Calling a girl Fire sounds like something in Bro Country. I do like this one though.

I like "Fire" better than "Lose My Mind", but so far all of Brett's songs have lacked something for me, except For "Beat of the Music". I can't quite say what it is, but most of his songs just sound kind of flat to me, and uninspiring. "Fire" is decent, but doesn't add much to his catalog in my opinion.

Brett Eldredge is such a waste of a good voice, imo. "Raymond" is his only single to date that I don't think is essentially forgettable and is a truly 'great' song. "Signs" not being released from his last album will forever be a crime, since it was better than all three of the hit singles they got from it, but every bit as radio friendly. He just bores me as an artist.

He just bores me as an artist. Fixed that for ya! But yeah , I couldn't agree more. He has arguably the best voice in Mainstream country music and wastes it on forgettable completely & utterly vanilla material.
