I can see Big Machine trying to get FGL the record for most #1 singles from a country album. I believe Brad Paisley ( 5th Gear) and Luke Bryan ( Crash My Party) are currently tied for five #1's, and Anything Goes easily contains six or seven #1-worthy songs. The only way I can see one of six singles from this album missing #1 is if Big Machine botches up radio promotion the way they screwed "This Is How We Roll" out of a #1. "Anything Goes," "Smoke," "Like You Ain't Even Gone," and "Confession" could all be #1 singles on the airplay charts.Don't forget "Bumpin' The Night". That one sounds like a big hit too. I'm not particularly crazy about "Bumpin' the Night," as it just seems like a disposable, cliché, "bro-country" song, kind of like the latest two singles from Billy Currington, and the production does grate on me a bit, particularly in the first verse, but you're right, this could be a hit on today's country airplay charts and judging by this being one of the songs Florida Georgia Line released to iTunes before the album was released, I think this may be one of the potential single choices for the album. I'll personally be disappointed if a single is wasted on this (as I was over "Sun Daze"), but regardless of my opinion it could be a #1 hit. It looks like "Sippin' on Fire" may get two weeks at #1 after all. "Wild Child" had a big conversion week May 18-24 and this definitely slowed down a bit, but as jhomes87 pointed out, the gap between Kenny/Grace and FGL is still really big, and WC really slowed down again after the big conversion week. It'll probably take "Wild Child" another two to three weeks to grow to #1 levels of airplay. The ad for "Smoke" in CAW (the first ad from Republic Nashville I've seen in at least four months) didn't mention anything about "still growing," so I think Republic Nashville may be pushing SOF for #1 this week. I definitely can see FGL holding the #1 spot through the 15th before Columbia pushes Kenny to #1. "Sippin' on Fire" and "Wild Child" are separated by "only" around 3.5 million in audience on the new Billboard Country Airplay chart, and that's a pretty readily scalable gap for a single week, I think (to compare, "Sippin' on Fire" trails "Smoke" by around 3.2 million). Kenny Chesney is co-hosting Country Countdown USA this week, but "Wild Child" is clearly not getting to #1 on Billboard this week. The countdown spin bump should help "Wild Child" to take next week's Mediabase #1, though -- the current gap of about 2,000 points between "Wild Child" and "Sippin' on Fire" is comparable to the nearly 1,900 point gap between "Sippin' on Fire" and "Smoke" on this week's chart. So if Republic Nashville plays nice and/or Columbia Nashville's promo team succeeds, "Wild Child" should be able take over #1 on at least one chart next week. You brought up a good point about the audience gap between this and "Wild Child" being small enough on Billboard that Kenny's team may see a window to push for #1 next week. I agree with you that Kenny has a strong chance of at least taking a Mediabase #1 next Sunday (6/14) if Columbia decides to push next week. However, barring the implication of Lon Helton's co-host schedule, I'm inclined to think Columbia may want to play it safe and take a "wait and see" approach next week, meaning they'd wait until Wednesday or Thursday to see if FGL starts free falling next week before deciding to declare an all-out push for #1. I don't really think Republic Nashville plans on playing nice here, and I do expect FGL's team to do what they can to keep SOF at #1 for a second week. It just seems like that second week at #1 has had "Sippin' on Fire"'s name on it for many weeks given how big a gap there was between FGL and Kenny/Grace for so long. The one thing that may sway Columbia to do an all-out push for "Wild Child" next week instead of waiting around, is if Sony is concerned about getting Carrie Underwood's "Little Toy Guns" to #1 as soon as possible, and Sony is willing to risk a Mediabase-only #1 for Kenny for the sake of clearing the top 5 for Carrie's push as soon as possible, which I think would be a fair trade considering Carrie's #1 for "Something in the Water" was sacrificed for Kenny's "Til It's Gone" last winter. ETA: Judging by today's Mediabase update (6/2), it really does seem like Columbia is gearing up to push "Wild Child" to #1 next week. I'm still expecting Republic Nashville to get competitive and fight for a second week at #1 for "Sippin' on Fire," so next week may be an entertaining battle for #1 on the airplay charts.

Don't forget the five #1s off of Diamonds & Dirt by Rodney Crowell and Blake Shelton's Based On A True Story.

I already posted about the Rodney Crowell and Blake Shelton albums on the previous page of this thread, at the very bottom. (here)Anyway, to nobody's surprise, "Sippin' On Fire" is tracking at #1 on Billboard: Country No.1 Florida Georgia Line Sippin' On Fire +35650 Billy Currington Drinkin' Town With A Football Problem On Mediabase, they'll most likely pass A Thousand Horses and ascend to #1 with tomorrow's update.

Once Sippin' On Fire is officially #1 (via the Billboard Country Update), I'll be able to move Florida Georgia Line from #96 to #80 on the list of those artists with the most #1s.

This is officially #1 on both charts tonight, and it'll only get 1 week at #1 as well, since they sent "Anything Goes" out to radio this afternoon.
