Finally listened to it on Spotify and it's better than the Staind song Yeah no doubt, that's like stating that pizza is better than wax beans...there's just no comparison. Staind's "Believe" is by far the biggest joke of an alternative #1 song ever. Totally out of place and very uninspired. I liked Staind's "Believe" :(

Totally out of place and very uninspired. I liked Staind's "Believe" :( It's not that its a bad song, it's just an absolutely shocking and frankly a horrible #1, and the one of the biggest reasons the change in direction for the format had to happen.

Um, Babel was AMAZING.
That is all.

I liked all of the singles from Sigh No More (the album as a whole is probably just a 6.5/10 for me at best, though), but was underwhelmed by Babel, save "I Will Wait". Didn't think it was as good as all the Grammy accolades and multiple Billboard chartings for its tracks made it out to be. This, however, seems interesting - looks like they're ditching much of their folkie image and modernizing their sound. Even the album cover shows an urbanized city.

I've got a strong feeling that "Believe" is a remastered version "Hold On to What You Believe." Not that the songs bad, because I love it, but I'd rather brand new material as apposed to what they did with Babel.

Good news for all you indie folk haters. This album will contain absolutely ZERO banjos.

Unsurprisingly will impact AAA and Alt next week, according to AllAccess.

It'd be weird to use it as a lead single when they didn't use it on their first two albums. If they were to pull a track off of Love Your Ground, I'd prefer it to be Feel the Tide. Love that song.

Under Cool New Music across most formats. It's not a remake of "Hold On to What You Believe".
It's not bad. It doesn't start to get going until the 2 minute mark. It's underwhelming for a lead single, but overall it's still pretty good.

This will be the next #1 after Lampshades on Fire (and possibly Long Way Down if this doesn't sneak into #1 before then), leading us into Summer 2015.
I think it'll debut in the top 10 as well.

Great song, will most likely be another #1 for them!

It's OK. A little underwhelmed on first listen but I do think it's good.

Beginning is pretty slow, but it picks up by the end. They really have abandoned their sound on this one, and i'm not sure how I feel about that. I could see them losing some of their fan base with this.

It's more U2 than Mumford & Sons, but I like it.

I'm here for it. I mean, I was not about a banjo-less Mumford when I first heard about that but after listening to the single, I'm in.

This is very good. I hear U2 and Imagine Dragons ( Pipa brought both of those to my attention) as well as Coldplay and Oasis in this.

This is alright. I'm not a big Mumford fan but this is better than most singles from their first two albums. It still sounds like a mediocre Coldplay song though.

The way I see it is they could have released like a 10th different version of "Little Lion Man", or they could have done this. I'm glad they went with this.

I like it as is. It's a little slow to start, but it's good once it gets going.
But I can't help but want to hear a banjo version.

I like it. As others said, it picks up in the middle and I hear elements of all of the bands listed above in it. I'm sure it'll do very well on Alternative.

I do hear mostly U2 and Coldplay in this, but that's not a bad thing at all. I'm honestly glad they ditched the indie-folk sound (at least on this song) - this is a bit more to my liking. I'm also sure it'll have an explosive debut as well. Of course, there's a lot of negativity on YouTube because this isn't indie-folk.
