Miley can actually sang too. I'd say she doesn't belong in that group either.

This is taking a longer time than I expected to leave the top 10. Well at least it didn't pull a Catalyst/Between the Lines

Oh god, I forgot Between The Lines was a #1...that song was awful I've barely heard the song so I pulled it up... did you know that it was nominated for a Grammy??? It's so unremarkable, I guess it must have been crazy hyped at the time...

Yeah, I think it's an unpopular opinion to hate on that song around here though...it's probably one of the most popular #1s of the 2010s because it isn't indie, but that's just speculation To me it just sounds like a bad Sam Roberts song.

Grammys often try to over-correct by honoring bands they overlooked in the past. They are very flawed but they still do a better job than the other big-name award shows
STP's last decent song was Sour Girl, last decent album was Tiny Music...

Between the Lines was a bit u dr whelming, but I'm fine with it being #1 just so STP could finally get one,

So much hate for "Between the Lines", lol. Sure, it wasn't the greatest song they've released, but is still energetic and catchy. I'm glad it got to #1 because it was a breath of fresh air from freakin' "Mountain Man" being #1, and then "Lay Me Down" taking over for 11 weeks.

And at the time I wasn't big on Mountain Man, but it slowly grew on me over time.

"Between the Lines" is a decent track, better than "Out of Time" at least, but if STP was really fated to have just one #1 I would've preferred it to be "Big Bang Baby" (which is their finest single imo) or something actually from the '90s.
"Mountain Man" is a good faux-White Stripes jam, easily the best of the three. "Lay Me Down", on the other hand is... garbage.

You know I actually had to edit my whole post, cuz I found myself going off on STP topic that had nothing to do with Mumford and Sons. That usually happens when I post about STP. Sorry, my bad. Anyway, I have nothing positive to say about "Believe" but "Wolf" is a pretty good follow up

I guess I'm probably the only one who would say Lay Me Down > Mountain Man > Between The Lines.
