Yeah, the album is doing great on the BB200 because of streaming but it's looking like it will be her lowest selling album, (or maybe it will surpass Music of the Sun which is only certified Gold). Still, it's breaking her streak of selling at least a 1m since A Girl Like Me.
I really like the album but Work, Needed Me and Kiss It Better were the best single choices. From the songs left, I like Desperado, Love on the Brain, Never Ending and Consideration but I don't think they're obvious smashes. If I were the label I would try to save this while there's still hope.

Cee Lo Green's "F**k You" too I don't that one was ever officially re-released, I think it just started taking off again. I thought it had gone up the CHR chart some and then dropped only to go Viral and become the smash it did? I feel like "Kiss It Better" and "Who Knew" would kind of be similar situations if they re released it.

but the album is still a huge seller ? It's only sold like 350k. We count with streaming numbers in 2016.

There are no more multiformat hits on this album. "Sex With Me" would smash Urban. And she needs to release "Love On The Brain" simply because it's arguably the best song she's ever recorded.
I am still gobsmacked by this dual release, it's one of the stupidest moves her record label has ever made in regards to her singles (and let's be honest, they've done some stupid sh*t with her singles over the years). I still don't understand why they released two Urban smashes at once to different formats? That's not how double A-sides are supposed to work. "Needed Me" should have went to all formats, would it have smashed Pop? I doubt it. But with all the pre-release hype, it could have made a dent. And "Kiss It Better" would slay Urban on it's own. I just pray that when "Needed Me" peaks, they send "KIB" to Urban, Rhy and UAC.

If they intend to treat LOTB the same way they did with KIB, then I'd rather it stayed as an album track.

I feel like if she was still with Def Jam, this era would've been handled a lot differently. I remember being mad back in the days when certain songs like Breakin' Dishes or Firebomb weren't singles, but that is nothing in comparison to the fuckery that's gone on with Westbury/Roc Nation

I can't believe the way this song was treated, extremely sad as far as horrible single releases go...
But yeah, people coming for her low sales need to reevaluate that.
(1) Streaming is the future and is already SO significant compared to 2013 and prior. She's near 900K SPS which is just fine. I mean, she hasn't even left the Top 20 of PURE SALES on the Hot 200 since its debut. In comparison, ARTPOP was doing half the pure sales numbers Anti is still doing at this point in its trajectory.
(2) She has never been an album seller and usually releases in the best time for album sales with a hit single. This time? The deadest time for album sales out of nowhere... with next-to-no promotion.
(3) No live performances televised in the US. Period. Brits and Ellen were it.

This should have gotten a release of it's own and released to all formats. It just seems like it wasn't meant to be for this song...from the Grammy cancellation to the early peaking. Sad. :( That was your 10,000th post! I think I should be disappointed by the fact that it has a negative bullet. PS: You are almost a diamond member! What's gonna be your epic 10,000th post? It'll be related to Kiss It Better...or maybe a look back at being a member for 10 9 years. And you were right

? It's only sold like 350k. We count with streaming numbers in 2016. You can't really say something is a huge seller and then put streaming in the equation. Streams are not sales, are they?

Yeah, I don't care how equivalent they are made to be. Streamed is not sold.
The album has sold 400,000 copies (pure sales) in a little over 3 months. I don't have access to Unapologetic's sales right now for sake of comparison, but I wouldn't say it is doing too bad on this front, especially considering the 1M copies giveaway. And it's 2016 where streaming rules and album sales are not exactly in the best shape. Numbers should be put into perspective.

It's just really hard to compare the album sales in the US for Anti to her other releases. The circumstances were totally unlike anything she has done before:
01. The first single came out one day before the album. 02. There has been no promotion. 03. Samsung bought a million copies. 04. Streaming has totally exploded since the release of Unapologetic.
Anti should be crossing the 400k mark in pure album sales this week, which isn't too bad. I predicted a 500k pure album sales finish for the album in the US, and she definitely will reach that. She may even surpass it. And, like I've said before, considering all of her albums have averaged around 1-1.3M in the US, that sounds about right with sales declining every year. Actually, one could even argue that she's already sold 1.3+ million copies of the album. I pretty much agree with this tweet on the Samsung deal:
So, we have 1M from the Samsung deal, 950k SPS and 400k pure album sales. The release definitely wasn't traditional and takes some getting used to, but it is what it is. I'm more worried about her international sales anyway. They are terrible.

Nah, a bunch of Drake songs just passed it up.
Anyways, not sure why it's always the die hard Beyonce fans trying to discredit Rihanna's album performance. Anti is doing perfectly fine. It's a new era for music listeners/consumers. Get used to it, quick.

this one of the best songs on the radio this year. as is team. AMERICA WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU This peaked higher than in the US in precisely three countries; Australia (#48), the UK (#51), and Canada (#54). It wasn't only the US saying no thanks, this has been a flop everywhere.

The only reason it's flopping is because she has like 3 other singles overtaking it. This is pretty obvious.
