Great Monday for Chris, Josh and Corey. #1 for 3 weeks on the Billboard AirPlay Chart, #1 on Mediabase and #1 on the Canadian Chart.

Isn't this song supposed to go recurrent on MB tonight I still see it on the chart, It won't go recurrent until January 4th. Mediabase usually doesn't send songs recurrent these two weeks (I should have thought that with George, too). Same situation as "Somewhere In My Car" last year.

All I hope now is that this goes recurrent on BB. I am sad however that this will have to wait go recurrent because I'm sick of seeing it on the charts,

Sorry for a double post but I have a question. If this song falls to #11 on BB will it go recurrent because it looks like it's going to do that. I ask because I think this is the week where everyone loses their bullet but Chris should go recurrent. sabre14 do you think Chris will go recurrent next week on BB,

If the hemorrhage in spins remains consistent he will fall below #10 in spins and be out even if the whole chart is trending negative AI numbers. That's how I understand the Billboard rule book.

I do think this one will go recurrent by next week on Billboard. The week after that is when the charts pick back up again full throttle and Chris will most certainly be gone by then. I personally don't care too much when this one is sent recurrent but I understand the sentiment of unbulleted songs that are falling, to be taken off the chart and free up space as soon as possible.

I didn't comment on this song much when it was climbing since it was kinda "there" and felt like a rehash of "Tomorrow". But it grew on me considerably. I think the production sucks, though. It's very tinny and loud.

Billboard most likely won't send this recurrent until January 11 (chart dated January 23). They've made one or two goofs in the last few years (I remember they sent ZBB's "As She's Walking Away" recurrent a week or two early, and there was one other song either last year or the year before) but generally they don't send songs recurrent during Christmas week (because everybody is bullet-less) or New Year's week (because everybody re-bullets, even the songs that have clearly peaked). I was out of town earlier this week so I didn't have the chance to join in the discussion on whether Young would have gone recurrent or not on the current chart, but at this time last week I was thinking that there was only about a 30% chance that he would fall to #11 in spins -- I thought it was more likely that he would stay on, staying in the top 10 in both audience and spins, and get 2 more chart appearances (Christmas and New Year's) as a result. And as we now know, Chris did stay on...he came in at #8 due to his audience total, and he only fell to #10 in spins (he finished a full 200 spins ahead of Luke Bryan). So because this song stayed on this week's Billboard chart, I expect it'll get another 2 appearances yet, even if it falls out of the top 10.
