I just looked on her website, and it has a countdown to when this song can be previewed.
The countdown is at 10 days, 18 hours, and 24 minutes.

Finally...new Trisha music! I am stoked! Me too. I loved "Georgia Rain" but thought the rest of Jasper County was just okay, with maybe two exceptions.

I don't expect to hear it for first time on a country radio station. I have plenty of those to choose from where I live, but I'll probably hear new song from Shania (or Carrie) before Trisha on them.

July 3, 2007 — Big Machine Records president & CEO Scott Borchetta announced that Trisha Yearwood's first single for the label is set for a July 30 airplay date.
The song, "Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love" will be the first song released from her upcoming album of the same name. The first studio recording from Trisha since 2005, the album is produced by Garth Fundis.
Fans will have the chance to preview a clip of the new single on Trisha's website, trishayearwood.com, and her MySpace page, myspace.com/trishayearwood, beginning July 13.
The single will be delivered digitally to country radio on July 16.

I thought that Jasper County was "meh," at best. She has great talent, hopefully she is able to rebound.

Didn't Trisha have one more album under contract with MCA? Wasn't there going to be a Greatest Hits II released to complete the contract?

I think the Greatest Hits II album was scheduled to come out on Big Machine Records, but maybe someone else can confirm that. Originally it was meant to come out on MCA, but I believe Trisha and MCA came to an agreement that the album wouldn't come out and she would move ahead with her Big Machine release. She may have agreed to release it with her input later (i.e. give them a new track to promote to radio for inclusion). Otherwise, MCA will put one out somehow to capture the hits not on her Songbook album via some sort of Essential album or whatever.

Trisha premiered her new single on some Nashville stations this morning. Here are some quotes from people on her message board who heard it:
Can't wait to hear this myself!

www.myspace.com/trishayearwoodThis is great! Trisha sounds wonderful, and this is a great uptempo song. Whether or not country radio will pay her any attention remains to be seen, but I hope they do. The clip on her myspace is only 1:55, but it is definitely long enough to give you a good feel of the song. If the picture up on the site is really her new album cover, it's a great looking one. Trisha looks really good. It sounds like I'm in the minority, but I loved Jasper County. It's probably my favorite of Trisha's studio albums.

You should have a great time. I saw her a couple of years ago and she put on a really good show. Hopefully you'll get to hear a few songs from the new album.

This sounds good. Need to listen a few more times, but I like the energy and her vocal performance is awesome as always. Wish there was a more prominent melody, but will listen again and hope that one jumps out at me.
This could do Top 10 at radio or miss the Top 40 completely. Hard to say. I'm getting the feeling that radio will welcome her back at least for this first single.

Not bad, not bad at all. I love Yearwood's lower register! I'm with TCorey in wishing for more of a standout melody, but I like this and look forward to hearing it in full. I think it could peak in the mid-teens.

I think she has a better shot at radio if she sticks to non-Garth material. Even I have found her Garth stuff to be icky (to use the technical term), and I pay very little attention to the personal lives of artists.
Not saying that she's going to have a steady diet of top 10's, but I think that's her best shot at finding some chart success.

Yes, she does put on one hell of a show. I saw her for my b-day the year the Everybody Knows album came out (that week even I think), and I got the opportunity to go backstage and meet her, thanks to her now ex Robert Reynolds of the Mavericks. Words can't describe how gorgeous she actually is.

Just got back from the concert (which was amazing!), and I got to hear this song live. It was the first time she's ever performed it live.
She didn't sing any other new songs, but she did talk about the new album a bit. She said a lot of the songs are uptempo, which is unusual for her. She also mentioned that Keith Urban sings with her on one song, though I'm not sure if it's just background vocals or a duet.

Keith Sings on Trisha’s New CD Trisha Yearwood’s upcoming new CD, Heaven, Heartache & the Power of Love, will feature guest vocals by Keith Urban.
July 13, 2007 – Keith will appear on the song “Let the Wind Chase You,” one of Trisha’s favorite tunes on the album, reports All Access. Trisha thought that Keith would be perfect for the song, but was unsure of his availability. As it turned out, Keith had one night open and was able to record his vocals. Trisha’s album is set to be released November 13.

I'm truly shocked that this song isn't digitally available yet to radio. I would figure they would want it out in time for the morning shows... unless I just missed it..
