Billboard gave this a second consecutive grace week, as it holds bulletless at #26. There is a bright side to this. "Better In Boots" is in freefall mode on the Indicator chart. Which is often times a good indicator of when a song is done. Seriously though, this song needs to just give up already.

Tyler lost another 260k in audience today (while breaking even in spins).
This one is done, whether its done now or three weeks from now -- it won't be going any higher. Good riddance in my opinion. Lame isn't a strong enough word for this song.

"Better In Boots" is officially done. Lost 109 spins in today's Mediabase update. Will go recurrent on Billboard, Monday (the 21st) and recurrent on Mediabase, Sunday the 28th.

I still want to know why this one didn't climb higher. Yeah it's lyrically dumb but it's very catchy and perfect for country radio 2016. I hear it on the radio all the time. I thought we had a future #1 in the making a few months ago once it started hitting its stride.
Is there another single? I highly doubt it after "Withdrawals" and now this. The title track is a killer song but going into summer that would not work since it's a slower, ballad type song. "Damn Good Friends" would be excellent for summer since it's uptempo but with Aldean on the track that becomes a huge problem. Jordan Rager already has his duet with Aldean out now, so there's no way two duets with the same artist would be out on the radio. Plus Aldean and Rager are on BBR, so there's no issues there.
Wonder what's next for Tyler.

Yeah unless they can get the clearance to release "Damn Good Friends" (an absolute smash waiting to happen), they might as well move on from this era. It's a shame because they're wasting some absolute gems.

At this point they should just release "Suffer in Peace" and see what happens. 5 months from now if it's treading water in the 40s or 30s, is he really going to be any worse off than right now?
That one is a career song.

Tyler's not even touring right now as he's been on vocal rest following surgery in January. He almost certainly won't be recording new music anytime soon. It's possible that he's been writing but I don't think he'll go into the studio anytime real soon. I think it'd be in his (and Sony's) best interest if they either released one more single or took a multi-month break and came back with something new late in the year (or possibly even waiting til 2017).
