Anybody agree that this is done? Over 2.1 million audience loss in 3 days. Can't imagine they will be hanging on.

Anybody agree that this is done? Over 2.1 million audience loss in 3 days. Can't imagine they will be hanging on. "Top Of The World" does appear to be done, although the bottom has completely fallen out (losses of over 1.0 million in audience a day), so there's still that slim chance that Big Machine tries to revive it come the 27th but this song has now lost 260 spins and over 2.0 million in audience and that deficit is just too great to ignore. I'm expecting a new single come January.

Please give us "California", it's the best song on a rather weak album.

I saw Tim McGraw in concert the night before he released this song. He didn't mention it nor did he play it that night. So perhaps he has been sick of it for a very long time. Join the club.
Love Tim, but this song does nothing for me. And that comes from someone who liked every song on Let It Go.

For what it's worth, I think the CD sticker mentions both "Humble and Kind" and "Here Tonight," so I'd expect one of those to be the next single, and perhaps followed by the other one as the third release.

I'd be okay with "Here Tonight", but "Humble And Kind" doesn't seem like a great single IMO. Kind of similar in tone to "Top Of The World". I think something a little more upbeat would fair better.

I'd want this era to go like this 1. Top Of The World 2. Here Tonight 3. California 4. Humble and Kind
That would be a perfect era for me.

After hearing the album it's impossible imo, for this era to be perfect with "Top Of The World" becoming the lead single.
I said it in the Damn Country Music thread, "Here Tonight" sounds like a great winter into Spring single.

They can only go up from here.

Down another 0.7 million audience today. This should be gone after the freeze.

Yep, this one's finished alright (down 380 spins and 2.7 million in audience this week). We should be hearing of Tim's next single either after Christmas or by the first week of January.

Yeah I agree. This ended up doing better than it probably should have. It's not a bad song imo, but it also wasn't a great lead single choice. Sending out a second single the first week in January sounds about right to me.

The third lead single from Tim McGraw's third Big Machine album fails to hit the top. It follows Truck Yeah (#10 in 2012) off Two Lanes Of Freedom and Lookin' For That Girl (#15 in 2014) off Sundown Heaven Town.

I hope "Here Tonight" is next. That's really good.
I like this, but I'm not sure if this was really lead single worthy. Tbh Tim has never really picked the best leads. The best singles are the ones afterwards.

Tim has posted a 30 second clip from a new music video for Humble and Kind on twitter and it says coming January 2016, so it looks like that will be the next single.

I like "Humble and Kind" but I don't think it's the best choice for the 2nd single. I think "California", "Want You Back", or "Here Tonight" would be better choices (and would probably do better), but hopefully HAK is able to do well if it is indeed coming next. All I know is that I'm glad "Top Of The World" is done. This is easily one of the most boring songs Tim has ever released, and it's easily the worst song on an otherwise solid album with plenty of good country-pop songs that could be singles...any other song would have been a much better single, and I feel like any of them would have been quite a bit bigger than TOTW turned out to be. Once again I'm flabbergasted at Tim's/Big Machine's choice for the lead single. Heck I can't even believe that "Top Of The World" made it onto the album..

We'll probably hear official word of "Humble And Kind" becoming Tim's new single after the New Year after seeing that teaser.
I really would have preferred "Here Tonight" but usually a music video being released at the start of the year signals a new single.
Tim absolutely loves "Humble And Kind" though and has been sitting on it for a while, waiting for the right time and place to record and release it. Doesn't surprise me it would be next.

"Humble and Kind" was one of my other choices as well, so I'm not disappointed if that indeed turns out to be the next single. I think "Here Tonight" would do better, but we'll see I guess.

As an avid Tim McGraw fan. This has to be one of the weakest singles on the album and I'd rather fall off the chart and go with a new single. "Here Tonight" would be my choice.

The third lead single from Tim McGraw's third Big Machine album fails to hit the top. It follows Truck Yeah (#10 in 2012) off Two Lanes Of Freedom and Lookin' For That Girl (#15 in 2014) off Sundown Heaven Town. So he's 3/3 on making terrible choices for lead singles. I'd think being freed from Curb would've fixed that...

I'd think being freed from Curb would've fixed that... Well considering the position he's in now, perhaps that was one thing that Curb actually wasn't guilty of, lol. I know they pumped out a ridiculous number of singles from his projects towards the end of his time with them and did a bunch of shady sh*t obviously, but I just have this vision now of Tim telling Mike Curb he really wants to release "Do You Want Fries with That" as his lead single and Curb telling him "Umm maybe let's go with 'Live Like You Were Dying'." Seriously though, we know that Tim McGraw is in the position that he gets to choose his singles, so perhaps he personally just sucks at that.
