Havne't really paid attention to the show, but I was hoping JC Andersen would win. Saw him in concert a few years ago opening for Van Zant. He was really good. He went to school not to far from where I did (same time too lol). He sounded great then. Hoping he'd make it big. Nice guy too. I got a picture with him somewhere on my computer.

Not sure if it's going to be the lead single, but Emerson Drive has a new song called Belongs To You that was just registered on MB in the past few days. It's their first song registered under Valory, so I take that to mean it will be the single, but I'm not an expert on these things.

It's their first song registered under Valory, so I take that to mean it will be the single, but I'm not an expert on these things. According to the band when I talked to them at the CCMA awards, the new single will be released November 3rd. At a show, Brad did say the new single is "Belongs To You," but he said it would be released in three weeks-- so it should be coming between mid October and November 3rd. And for the Canadian fans, I don't know if you will get the same single. They sang "The Extra Mile" on the Canadian Country Music Awards, but it might have been just to do a new single because at that time they hadn't been officially signed to Valory yet. They haven't released the same single to both US and Canadian markets since they started doing both. Loralie

R&R has James Otto going for adds on 10/13. Don't know if that has been mentioned or not.

I wasn't even aware that Stroud had signed Richie, but this should be a much better chance for him to get back on the radio.

NOV 10Carolina Rain “Weight Of The World”(Equity Music Group) Source: MusicRow It's such a shame that American Radio didn't catch on, that was a great song. I really think that Equity could be in trouble. I haven't heard this song yet, but I hope it does well enough to get CR another album, I love thier harmonies.

NOV 10Carolina Rain “Weight Of The World”(Equity Music Group) Source: MusicRow There's been several songs with this title recorded over the years. I wonder if this a remake...? We can probably rule out the Blue October tune of this same title, but what about Neil Diamond's song of this same name? And, of course, there's the Evanescence one too. Hmmmm.....

NOV 04Whitney Duncan "All I Want For Christmas"(WBR Nashville) Source: WBR Nashville Website I wish some of my favorites that had only a couple of singles would have gotten pushed as much as this girl. Will they ever give up?
