Source: CountryStandardtime website » Andrews To Carolwood: The first artist to join Disney's Carolwood imprint is Jessica Andrews, whose debut for the label will be produced by Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus. Her first single, "Everything," goes to Country radio Nov. 4. "We're thrilled to have an artist of Jessica's caliber and track record to help us launch Carolwood," says label President Randy Goodman. The Lyric Street sister label launched earlier this month (Breaking News 10/2). Andrews released three albums, Heart Shaped World, Who I Am and Now on Dreamworks, resulting in a Top 10 hit with "Who I Am" in 2001 followed by "There's More To Me Than You," which broke the Top 20 in 2003. That's from countryaircheck special morning report.

NOV 17George Strait "River Of Love"(MCA) Source: Allaccess/Impacting Songs Damn ! Terrible choice. I couldnt remember this so I had to pull the cd out. I think my brain had removed this sucky song from my memory so I could still respect Mr. Strait. There will be no chance of this one growing on me either. At his age , he doesnt need to slip up and with this , he's almost giving the programmers a reason to NOT play him.

First single release I've seen for '09.
Jan. 12
George Ducas "Walk Through This World" (WhiteStar Entertainment)
It's kind of surprising to see George putting out new music (it's been over a decade since his last single or album), but I liked Lipstick Promises, and I've always found him to be a good songwriter (Always The Love Songs being my favorite song out right now), so if his vocal chops are still intact, this has the potential to be good.

December 15, 2008 Mark Chesnutt - "Things To Do In Wichita" What happened to Come On In (The Whiskey's Fine)? I really liked that song but I don't think it ever even had an adds date. I haven't heard that song, but I doubt it can be as good as COI(TWF) or Man In The Mirror.

Brooks & Dunn's Duet With Reba Now Available To Radio Brooks, Reba, Dunn ARISTA/NASHVILLE's BROOKS & DUNN performed their new single, "Cowgirls Don't Cry," last night (11/12) with Country star REBA McENTIRE at the 42nd Annual CMA AWARDS in NASHVILLE.
REBA was the inspiration when RONNIE was writing the song with TERRY McBRIDE. “I was thinking of REBA when I wrote it, and how she grew up around cowboys and the rodeo lifestyle," said DUNN.
TODAY (11/13) ARISTA released the studio version of the duet on PLAY MPE, and it is available to Country radio now. The trio also recently filmed a music video, which will be released in the coming weeks.

DEC 08Taylor Swift "White Horse"(Big Machine) Source: Alaccess/Impacting Songs Boy, Big Machine sure isn't wasting any time. I'm thrilled by this choice though, I thought it was by far the standout on the album, although I'm a little surprised that they didn't go with Fearless.

DEC 08Taylor Swift "White Horse"(Big Machine) Source: Alaccess/Impacting Songs That's fantastic. I loved this song from hearing it for the first time on Grey's Anatomy. It's a great song and really showcases her, I think. It's definitely one of my favorites on the CD. Does this song remind anyone else of Faith Hill's Fireflies song? I guess it's just the fairy tale imagery but it seems similar in content and structure to me.

I really enjoy this song, and though I wish Tim McGraw's version was the one being pushed to radio, I am glad that the song is being released as a single.
