Jamie O'Neal's single "Like A Woman" is now available at iTunes and Amazon.com. There are 2 versions, the radio version and one that is a bit longer due to new first verse.

I was curious, does anyone know what Chuck Wicks next single is? I've heard it'll be out after New Years but just wondering what it is.

It doesn't do much good to announce a new single in the middle of Christmas season, so it'll probably be early before we hear what Chuck's new one will, likewise with Carrie Underwood, and Luke Bryan.

That's what he was saying, it sounded like they knew but it'll probably be a few more weeks until they announce it. I recently got his album and it's pretty good. I think I'll be pleased no matter which direction they go from All I Ever Wanted.

I think I'll be pleased no matter which direction they go from All I Ever Wanted. Personally, I hope they go with Starting Now. That's hands down my favorite off of the album, and I think it would make a very strong single choice as well. My gut tells me it'll be What If You'd Stay though. It's just the sort of over-dramatic Rascal Flatts-like ballad that labels are drooling over these days, so that would be my guess, but I hope I'm wrong.

I just read on his message board he confirmed with a radio station in Indiana this morning that the next single will be Man of the House. I wasn't expecting that one, really but it is a decent song.

I'll have to give that one a listen, but the fact that I have no memory of it probably isn't a good sign.

Well, I must admit that was one of my favorite singles when I first heard the Let It Go Album, so I would love to hear that on the radio, but this makes me wonder about the album release in April. Weird stuff going on with Tim's camp these days. Does that make 7 singles? Is that a record number released from the same CD?

Weird stuff going on with Tim's camp these days. Does that make 7 singles? Is that a record number released from the same CD? This is reaching comic proportions. Love him or hate him, Tim McGraw has been one of the biggest stars in this format for the past 14 years, and to treat him like this is downright disgraceful. I hope after Tim leaves Curb (at this rate, it'll probably be sometime in 2020) that Curb quickly goes belly-up and leaves the petty Mike Curb penniless. Beyond all of that, how incompetent does a label have to be to release 7 singles and manage to miss the two most obvious single choices (Train #10 and Between The River And Me). Maybe there's still hope that one of those two will the 8th or 9th single. On a positive note, it's nice to see that they are giving Steve Holy another release date. That song has been making small, but steady gains the past two months (after nearly 6 months of complete obscurity), but with a new release date it sounds like they might actually be willing to give the song a bit of promotion, so I hope it does well for Steve, he deserves better than Curb. btw kim8, Shania released 11 singles off of her Come On Over album.

Seven singles from a country CD is almost certainly unprecedented; Tim had six singles from 'Everywhere', as did Alan Jackson from his stellar 'Everything I Love' masterpiece.
'Whiskey & You' or 'Train #10' (the original title of this CD) would both be mortal locks to spend a month @ #1 and wind up in the year-end top five IMHO, and 'Between The River And Me' would also be a smash.
I totally agree about Curb Records; their incompetent treatment of their #1 artist as well as the format's #1 cumulative chart hog of the past 14 years is unconscionable and flat-out incomprehensible, except for the fact that this is Curb Records we're talking about.

How many of those singles from Ms. Twain were sent to country radio exclusively?Just wonderin'...... Actually, I think all of the 8 from The Woman In Me were (not positive though). None of the songs from that album charted on AC, and only Any Man Of Mine cracked the T50 of the Hot 100. I think only 5 or 6 of the 11 from Come On Over were released solely to country. SGG probably has more accurate stats on that than I do though.

From what I remember, all 8 singles in the US from The Woman In Me were country only. Canadian country radio got "If It Don't Take Two" as the 9th single, and Canadian AC radio also got "The Woman In Me" as a single.
For Come On Over, "Love Gets Me Every Time", "Don't Be Stupid", "Honey I'm Home", "Come On Over", "Rock This Country" and "I'm Holding On To Love To Save My Life" were the US singles that only went to country radio ("You're Still The One", "From This Moment On" (solo version), "That Don't Impress Me Much", "Man I Feel Like A Woman" and "You've Got A Way" were pop, country and AC singles). "When" was the 12th single in Canada, and was a crossover single as well.

SGG probably has more accurate stats on that than I do though. I'll make this quick: Song - Country, Hot 100 From The Woman In Me: 1. "Whose Bed" : #11, #87 2. "Any Man": #1, #31 3. "The Woman In Me": #14, #90 4. "I'm Outta Here!": #1, #74 5. "You Win My Love": #1, did not chart 6. "No One Needs To Know": #1, did not chart 7. "Home Ain't Where His Heart Is": #28, did not chart 8. "God Bless The Child": #48, #75 From Come On Over: 1. "Love Gets Me": #1, #25 2. "Don't Be Stupid": #6, #40 3. "You're Still The One": #1, #2 (also #1 on AC) 4. "Honey, I'm Home": #1, did not chart 5. "That Don't Impress Me": #8, #7 (also #8 on AC) 6. "From This Moment On": #6, #4 (also #1 on AC) 7. "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!": #4, #23 (also #16 on AC) 8. "You've Got A Way": #13, #49 (also #6 on AC) 9. "Come On Over": #6, #58 10. "Rock This Country!": #30, did not chart 11. "I'm Holding On To Love": #17, did not chart None of the TWIM singles went to AC radio. The reason "God Bless the Child" charted on the Hot 100 was because Shania recorded the full version of the song and released it as a physical single. Sales went to charity, so it sold pretty well. Also, "Any Man of Mine" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" were featured on a one physical single release. The single had the album versions plus a remix of "Whose Bed." Remember, the Hot 100 was all about single sales back in the early 90s. That's why "Any Man" has a good Hot 100 chart peak. From what I know, "You're Still The One," "That Don't Impress Me Much," "From This Moment On," "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!", and "You've Got A Way" went to AC radio. However, most of these were the remix versions that are featured on the Come On Over - International album that's in stores. The funny thing is that all these had physical singles, too, something we don't see anymore. There's also a load of remixes out there, too. Anyway, any other Shania chart questions can be shot out and I'll do what I can. :)

i hope Luke's single is "Pray About Everything", or "First Love Song". I want him to release 'First Love Song' or 'Baby's On The Way' next. I believe I posted this in Luke's album thread earlier this year, but his drummer - Kent - told me that they were planning to release either 'BOTW' or 'Pray About Everything' after 'CM'. That said, things could have changed by now, considering that was months ago.

well i would not be upset with BOTW either. those 3 would probably be the only songs i would consider as the next single though.

Thanks to all of you answering those questions regarding her chart history.
I didn't know that anybody had ever released six singles from a single CD besides Tim & Alan Jackson, who scored four #1 singles, one #4 single and one #10 single from his exceptional 'Everything I Love' CD @ R&R.

Yeah, Kenny had 6. The Dixie Chicks also had 8 (or 9 if you count "Sin Wagon") singles off of Fly:
Ready To Run Cowboy Take Me Away Goodbye Earl Cold Day In July Without You If I Fall You're Going Down With Me Heartbreak Town Some Days You Gotta Dance
Sin Wagon (video only single, but I would be inclined to count this for them, since they don't have the same opportunities at radio as they used to)
